Hi T@, what do you mean by 'scale out'? Is that another term to widen your SL?

I have a question for the veterans here. Earlier today my broker's data feed (their own feed from the interbank market and not their feed to me) went down for about 3 mins. Before that 3 mins, my trailing stop was showing $109 profit and suddenly when the feed came back online, my trail got filled at a loss to me of $66. So I am out of pocket $175 (109 + 66).

In these cases, where the brokers own feed has failed, should I be reimbursed for my losses? I spoken to customer support after the event and while they admitted their own feed was at fault,...

I'm not a veteran, but I've had 2 similiar situations.

One time, the brokers feed went crazy, showed the market up 1000 pips or something stupid and margined me out, a week or more later, they put me back in the trade. Was a bit shit as I was going to exit that trade and by the time they put me in the trade I'd lost most of my profit.

Second situation was the market jumped on a piece of news, my stop loss slipped by 30 pips, i rung up and they said it was due to high volume, and although they couldn't offer me the original stop loss due to too much volume, they offered me a better stop loss, so I only slipped by 10-15 pips instead of the 30 pips.

Can't hurt to ask, and I find people are more willing to help if you're polite, rather than screaming at the support staff.

TBH most of my pips I make in London session.

these days good brokers will do anything to get good clients.

put your case to a competitor broker and u will be surprised at the amount of help and advise they give, just to get your account with them.

May be the option expiry level is preventing a drop for now as it has tried and failed to hold above 13300.
making green pips large and red pips small this is my goal.

You rely too much on option expiration.
The pair has so many different reaction to options.
Its not going down because we are into an intraday uptrend, and we hit an important support.

I'm surprised we're not even going for a retest of 1.3300, this looks like a break incoming.

London may had changed the uptrend in a very subtle way . Check the H4 of London (the rejection of highs). However, I agree that still need to break that S for momentum.
