Bernanke, surprisingly, made a lot of 'pos' u.s. dollar remarks. I guess the U.S. economy is going to be more supportive on import rather then exports for the time being.

I am excited to wake up tomorrow during the end of London session and see 1.3210-1.3110 ...

Bernanke said that inflation won't go above 2% and they can turn the key to increase the interest rate or anything in 15 minutes.

SO .. confidence wise, to me, it is showing that they have 'control' and if they lose control then they have 'instant' action.

Sounds good to me.

Hi Mike thanks for the heads up I didnt even watch, techincals and previous "fundy's" told the whole story hehe. But I agree with you. I am starting a small lot half what I usually trade, I will add once I am about 100 Pips profit. I just hope we dont range for days.

The projected resistance @81.15 had done it's job as anticipated so far.

Updated chart below indicates that there is a strong possibility of the usdx forming a temporary top. A rejection at the subltl retest @79.80 will serve as a confirmation.

The retest of the ltl break is also inline with the eurusd stalling dead on the monthly pvp.
I/d bias is still bullish & only a close below the dp @3350 warrants selling imo. Stay nimble, because however bullish the pair looks atm, the very bearish November close was with intent.

It seems that we have a key point for the weekly direction right now. The PA just retested the falling TL to the pip on my chart, so I closed the minor short 10 pips before the previously intended. It bounced nicely and this could mean a bullish week if it is not revisited and broken.

Still I left the big short open and moved the SL on +2 pips. It would be pity if I get stopped out and logic screamed close half of it but I cant resist the chance to have a nice fat short at the top.

A stupid hunt for the holly grail I guess but just cant resist it

So while I'll tighten stops and rethink target levels based on fundamentals, I'll reverse my LONG when the chart tells me to.

The euro zone region's inability to fund future bailouts will probably force some of the 16 euro nations, including Ireland, to abandon the currency within five years, the head of the world's largest bond management firm has warned.

Mohamed A El-Erian, chief executive of investment management firm Pacific Investment Management Company (Pimco), told CNBC that Spain and Portugal are likely follow Ireland in drawing on the European Union's bailout fund.

Mr El-Erian, whose company has more than $1 trillion under management said the EU has not taken control of the crisis.

"The first rule of crisis management hasn't been met by the Europeans, and that is to get ahead of the crisis, be seen as proactive rather than reactive," Mr El-Erian told CNBC.

"As long as they're being seen as reactive we're going to have a slow-motion wreck going on on in Europe. We're going to wake up and it's going to be a new country we're talking about."

Mr El-Erian warned that continuing solvency problems would undermine any hopes of recovery.

"Unless we see more than just liquidity support, unless we see something that deals with the balance sheets, expect this contagion to go up," he said.

You have to do what works best for you.

Until you are in the board of Governors, I can't trust your words when they include the vocab. of words like 'best'. No offense.
