Well, it coincided with a LONG I had just taken on the 3 HOUR, so I was pleased it see it as well.

I'm currently in +166 and looking to extend this before a cash-n-grab.

landed couple of hours ago in Chicago from Barcelona.. now I have to change my trading hours to GMT -7... damn!

Btw, is touching back the daily trendline it broke on Friday!

Well, that chart makes a lot of sense(First one).

The fundamentals would support it as well going into the fourth quarter.

HAHA...

Dunno what magic B is doing but he sure is helping my positions along...

I got 3360 on fibre, 110 on E/J and 3050 on E/C...

Fibre and eur/chf very close to those levels, if they break we gonna have a bear day

EDIT: EJ PP at 110.62 so it is also close to there... Make or break?

l'M on the side of dollar strength, this should accelerate in the coming weeks as a major index and its components is showing signs of topping out, in turn should drive down euro...
imo it will be $ strength not euro weakness

Appreciating that the movement as of current is based on weakness of the USD, you really have to wonder where to hedge your bets....

Over the years of trading, sign up to enough sites and you will get massive amounts of this kind of tripe sent to you. In end, you are probably just as well to flip coins instead of following what any site, group or spammed email says, especially if it is in conflict with your own trade technical analysis......

Most of them are more or less skimpy bill like ... but I have noticed ... that BarChart site is changing every few minutes ...

It is a push to push server ... not a pull server like here ... and they update it several times ...

I like to see or watch the methods they use ... as I do some of own work on algos using own methods as well ... so more or less ... I am interested to see how they do their work ...

So I should have mentioned ... that the 'Spread Cheat Sheed' there is my favorite ...

It is dynamic ... not static like the normally, common used pivot tables ...

Such things do exist in seperate systems as well ... not very wide spread ... I know ...

It is the overview of various levels they use there ... and their pivotal approach ... which is very precise ...

I have compared it with my own calculations ... and as far as levels and dynamic pivots is concerned they are very good ... specially as they do update them during a trading day ... and their pivotal levels are changing later then ...

Excuse me ... it is a bit too complicated for me to explain in a language which is not mine ... what I mean with that particularly ...

But the fact that they show two different main directions in GU and EU ... that is sadly odds there ... BS at least ...

Everything with a grain of salt here my friend.

We will all find our own way in market and use the tools that we see fit. I was most certainly not trying to talk you out of using this site as a reference by any stretch, just thought the different outlooks on the EU/GU seemed worth a mention.

Depending on the time frame or length of time you choose to sit in a trade...the euro vs gbp does have a bit of a current bullish chart, so having the 2 on different sides of the coin isn't completely whack...but....

As they are moving on the strength and weakness of the USD, they should be moving in the same direction with different proportionate moves....

Meh...there are worse things to be following.

EJ gap filled for me. Took profit on that short trade. I expect a bounce up in EU now and a test of 3430-50 area. I'll short there again.

Ut-Oh,

I am a bear on the EUR/USD for the time being, but there seems to be a possibility that we are headed for a defentive bear set-up. Look at the daily chart & lets hope that with the ECB's news on how many bonds they purchased that the EUR/USD just drops down south.

No other news really coming out over next 24 hours, looks promasing for a bear formation IMO.

& what I took from Bernanke is that it 'can't get much worse' and there was NO mention on QE3 unless i missed some while away from TV.

Also noticed he was clear to point out there 'no money was printed' and that 'most QE debt has been paid'.

Looks like promising words for the USD for the time being.

Got a possible Channel going on here. Grey supply area worked so far. Ultimate resistance @ 3475. until ther I'm a bear, lot of potencial to the downside. Possible partial support @3290-3300.
