not so unlikely if consider is December and many traders are dying to make some pips pushing extra buyers to a no way run up.

Technical analysis is fine however, we tend to get so involved in it that we forget that what causes movement are the fundamentals.

The situation is that most countries are in some degree of difficulty but right now the spotlight is on EZ. Admittedly the US is in worse trouble but since the USD is the reserve currency, it will not hit as badly. It will remain for now the "best" port in a storm. Personally I see that as jumping from the frypan into the fire, but my views do not matter.

On both technical and fundamental grounds I see EU going down. The fundamentals will have a large bearing on just how far.

Seems like overall, USD is also quite strong starting the week off. Who knows in this rate race.

I am keep my eyes on around 1.4551 for the 'final' decision IMO, atleast for the 'high' before we had back down to 1.29xx or lower.

I believe it WAS fundamentals that brought the price over the line, but at the same time, surely every bear's finger would normally have been hovering over the sell button as it approached. No?
