I have been testing these indicator on a 50 pips rangebars

setting -- rangebars 50 pips
emi rsi cross 14 21 17

try it out guys will be nice to get and ea for this indicator with this settings

What timeframe is used for this system? Also...in loading the rangebar mq4....do we input 50 in the Range section or just use the default entry?

I downloaded it and inserted in the chart but do not see the appication of the indicator on my charts...

Hi there Zamanib, your system looks to good to be true well I just wanted to ask you how you do when you are using 2 minute charts? Also it would be perfect if you could post a template, thanks.

M2 is not a 2min chart it is label
My chart is on 50 pips rangebar-- each bars is 50 pips -- no new bar will form until it exceed the high or the low (50 pip) price can take 10hrs with this bars it will not form until it price break a 50 pips range high or low -- I hope you understand-- please google rangebars you will get better understanding

Cannot get the range bar indicator to work. Please explain how?

Mine won't either.

I'm pretty sure you have to put the indicator on a 1M chart and then open up a 2M offline chart.

Then you probably have to have live data to make it display.

We won't get that until tomorrow night.

Load a 1min gbpusd-- and scroll back as much as you can you may get all the way back to september I think-- then load the rangebar--indicator to the 1min chart-- then go an open a offline gbpusd M2 chart--

also -- load the indicator in the expert folder and the script folder see which works better

Very interesting thread here. Could someone of the more experienced traders maybe post a link where to find more about using those offline charts with mt4. I have difficultiies finding relevant infos with google.

so, finally I solved it by myself. If someone else should have the same trouble, I post my solution in very short:

- Open a 1m GbpUsd chart
- attach from the script folder the period converter script to this chart
- open input of this script and change the period (ExtPeriodMultiplier) to 2 (from previous 3)
- Now you can open the offline chart. - file > open offline - select the 2m GbpUsd which is now available

We may need someone to reprogram -- so there is no errors-- I think this one sometimes give irregular bars--

30pips rangebars work excellent with sidusv2

when the cross occur (arrows) enter -- when candle close-- 30pips sl and 30pips sl 1:1
or 60 pips tp and 60 sl 1:1 ratio

That's great, I'll Fry it later on. That seems to Be a simple method with clear charts, very nice of One mastered the chart setup finally I guess:-)

What you called rangebar (might confuse some ppl)

it's just Renko chart, I think. So anyone could simply use Renko_Indy with either 30 or 50 pip brick

size per your example.

Yes it's just Renko Indy with different name.. You have to drop indy on

any TF chart first and then open offline chart.. Just use this Renko_Chart Indy attached.. If your broker is 5 digits then

place extra zero for bick size for example for 30 pip range bar

"BoxSize" property to 300

and Renko timeframe use any 2-3-4 which are not used by regular

charts, then open that chart in Offline..

Make sure you download 1M TF history for that currency, usually you

don't have to.

And by the way, be advised, that if you use brick size like 30 pips it's would equivalent

to like Daily TF, means you won't have too many trades/signals/crossings maybe 1 in 24 hours..

If you want more like 1H TF, then use 10 pips BoxSize

Those who like 15m TF use 5 pips BoxSize..

You are welcome I've just tried and load renko first, now then load rangebar,

looks quite the same, we'll see how it goes in action, Also, I add

SMA 9 High
SMA 9 Low

Buy above Sell below Momentum and RSI

To filter some range bound.. I play with Renko a lot, it looks easy

and straight forward on the screen, but could be very tricky in action..

Need to filter as many false signals as possible.
