The volume indicated in the last five trading days is the highest weekly volume ever traded in EUR/USD.

A retrace up to 1.3612 should be realizable and looks like neighbour of average (1.3635) first and second significant resistance shown in the chart.

We are in wave 5 according to my weekly chart for Euro futures. This wave is likely to take the 1.4276 out. The 1.2587 lows at wave 2 failed to be tested. Now it seems the retracement from 1.4276 to 1.2968 is over. We should touch 1.38 the coming week and then possibly above 1.4276 in the next 2 to 3 weeks. Anyhow expect a gap down on sunday to maybe 1.3345 for the March contract 6EH1.

It was gloomy few days for me & traded a few only +-as though seeing pa for correction up yet not thought it may threaten any bigger one still not though yet. So concentrating the last down move from higher tf (1.2967-1/3785) , so far over 50% fibs corrected & may be even enough in such a stablished down trend presently is , daily tl at top & previous monthly ltl also around , may be around 3443 , the level of most concern now being 3445 now again , low of previous down move.anyway it can still can break this without concern perhaps with some fibs or even go for whole wave down correction , higher tf not support though specially monthly..still I will not prefer play any long at this stages & likely to see it fail soon, at the same time in h4 tf next candle will be 9th of the bull rally likely ranging type & after it over likely retrace from this level plus due a daily tl also should down enough before try further up if .

using today TD treanline indicator ofcourse giving high projection up & up but i am still not ( take tdtl in gold though as fit with me ) .
lets see what actually , if just around the corner 1.3446 break with confirmation support at 1.3464 get it or not.

just seeing incidentally using tick volumes , eu under ultra high volumes ever seen monthly for last 2 months , at exhaustion & at last month big down .perhaps huge accumulation attempt as seen lower tf still going on. volume traders may explains ins & outs more clearly.

Many People said in June 2008 "were in a Strong Uptrend..."

And the next two years are in the Other direction.

Now the same People said "were in a strong downtrend"

i am new at forex and the information from you people is helping me lots in understanding this market.
i just wanted to ask that what is an "esignal" ?
and what is position squaring ?
cause i dont have that last tick on my MT4..
Has euro dropped to 1.3396 really or is it just a mere mistake by some software ?

EU crisis aint over , EU candle didnt close above the 21 daily ema just touched it .

Freaky Fridays are called that for a reason. I saw somewhere that the number of short positions before NFP were unusually high. When the unexpected bad number came out 5X worse than expected, the shorts were ripe for the taking. I rarely take a position on overbought/oversold conditions as a primary consideration, and I rarely trade NFP, but this one was too tempting to ignore. Not only that, but yes Europe is crumbling like dominoes as just about everyone acknowleges the Euro is seriously flawed. I think you may see this pair go higher first as the Big Boys I gotta think want some of their positions above fulfilled before EZ zone looks at the growing thought of a divided Euro between North and South and wheels truly come off the wagon. Yes, USD has its issues, but its foundation is not flawed like the Euro. The US problem will take a little longer to unravel. Unless it looses its spendy entitlement mindset, it too will take a fall like a giant.
So I understand your reasoning, but the bigger fish aren't done eating the smaller fish. The Euro and the USD are both in most respects the weakest and sometimes the strongest currencies out there, making little sense which is why technicals are so helpful for this particular pair. The shell game will continue until one or both can't play anymore with Trichet and the FED being the master players.

When I started here as a lurker, I made the mistake of picking out traders I thought were good based on their posts here "EUR/USD thread". It wasn't until later that I discovered BRV, PeterCrown, DarkStar, and others.

New traders should spend more time looking through the other threads.
