what would you guys do if you were stuck with a 50 pip loss on EJ right now? that's the crappy short position i'm in now and i'm not sure if i should just close it.

you might get some good up/down volatility around the ADP and cut your loss a bit

Without knowing your original R/R, I would say cut your loss and have a beer. Clearly you have 50 reasons why you're "wrong". But if it reverses and continues the way you expected, then you can re-enter.

But as you're keeping it, I know from my experience that you will be quite emotional know and probably mentally denying that it won't continue to go against you. If it does, you could be -75, -100.... when do you pull the trigger?

For those whose accounts ain't "big" enough to trade commodities like gold and oil here is a nice long set up on AUD/USD as long as it stays above 0.95

with losses i always ask myself
"how many trades are I going to have to make to get this back"

psychologically it helps me pull the plug

My advise, put s/l above 110.07. This way it is above resistance and also allows for EUR to start falling again (I see this happening soon as I'm already short on EUR/CHF (BE) and E/U (s/l - 10) )

but in the future, decide where to put s/l and DO IT! HERE's a chart with the reason for this current up move. Pretty simple on larger TF...

Also look on H4 at the LOOOONG wicks on the bottom of the candles before this upmove. Signals that buyers are there looking long...
