Anyway, as far as I remember, both of these guys generally try to calm the markets when they speak. I wonder what's on your mind...what can they say? Retract on QE2? Kick Ireland out of the EU? I agree, that volatility is expected, but I think it will be mindless, meaning we'll pretty much be back afterwards where we are now. Give or take a hundred pips. Of course, stops will be taken on both sides. I might be wrong of course.Ignored
with that in mind... way too early to retract QE2 even if he believed it was the right thing to do... he doesn't... he believes QE worked and 2 will add a much needed security blanket.
if i were trichet i'd say something to send the euro further south... the eu needs all the help it can get and an appreciating euro doesn't help.
i do agree... nothing chances the market's uneasiness with contagion... doesn't matter if it's real or imagined. (most of the time it's real)
