Hi,

Over the past 2 days we have been finishing our systems upgrade, the new primary servers as previously mentioned have been moved to a tier 1 location in Sydney and we have also upgraded some of our data centers.
Can you be more specific as to what was rubbish last night?? all upgrades should now be implemented and it should mean a huge upgrade to clients trading and plenty of expansion space for MT5 and increase in global client base.

Cheers

I noticed lots of dropouts last night, constantly getting the mt4 disconnection/reconnection noises. Seemed much more often than usual.

There were quite a few server disconnections and also at one stage had no data coming through even though MT4 was connected to the server, this resulted in a gap on the charts as shown on the attached AU chart which has a six minute gap between candles on the 1min chart.

Apart from last night the connection has been very good lately, and execution very fast, though I did have one trade that hung for about 10 seconds earlier today before going through.

Cheers.

Hi,

Thats useful feedback thanks.
The new main prime servers in Sydney did not drop out once last night and havent since they have been installed , but while the new upgrade has been cementing in some of the data centers have been getting used to the new setup and you may have found yourself ping between 2 different data centers, this will have been more likely if you are based in Sydney and makes it seem like there are disconnections plus a ping between centers could have left a trade hanging.
This should not occur anymore but please let us know if you experience anything out of the ordinary as that will help us make the trading systems first class.

Thanks

Hi Chris

Last night I was trading EURUSD from 09:00 until 13:00 (server time) and often experienced periods where the feed was frozen and then the feed would free up and price would jump by up to 10 pips. At no time did I notice a disconnection - just the feed not receiving new data and then printing a catch-up when the data eventually flowed through. It appeared to me that the data freezes lasted from a couple of seconds up to maybe 20 or 30 seconds.

If I notice it again I will post on here. I don't always trade the London session, so I don't know if this issue appeared much before last night.

Thanks for the feedback and clearing it up. I was surprised because it's normally so clean but that explains it. Keep up the good work.

Our pleasure,
As mentioned earlier, how can we possible monitor real performance without feedback from clients, IT companies can give you all the stats under the sun but without actual feedback you are blind.

You can be rest assured though all changes implemented are for the better.

Thanks again

Chris

Thanks for the info Chris.
Performance has been very good since the previous upgrade, if the current upgrades improve things further a few minor glitches while it is being performed don't present a major problem.

Not to pile on but since no one has mentioned order problems, I will.

Last 1 1/2 days, orders placed are no longer immediate. They are taken, wait, wait, wait wait wait then time out. Sometimes will come back on their own. Other times just when I am ready to resubmit, suddenly goes through. Delays are as much as 6-7 seconds or more. Also gaps from one bar to another (sometimes 50 pips) and other times repeated disconnect bongs and musical reconnects even though the status shows data feed uninterrupted.
Nothing like it was last week and before.

i have also had a few minor issues but as mentioned above, i can live with these in return of a better system. Good to see go are still working to improve the system even more.

i am no IT expert but whenever i do anything semi major to my computer i always get little headaches!!!! I could not imagine what could go wrong when changing servers.

Please keep the updates coming Chris.

Cheers,

I am also affected by the problems mentioned by muzza,Analog & Abinadi .

I hope they were all ,as Chris mentioned ,due to the upgrading of the servers and nothing else.

I want to get back to good & smooth trade executions like before and the future very quickly.

It's already tough competing the markets and don't want my broker adding more to it.

Thanks

Hi Rich,

I think I found your account and looked and can see that you didnt trade since around this time yesterday, but correct me if I am wrong - I can't know everyone's account details! That would make sense because last night we made a further tweak and you should see it being much faster, but please let me know.

Goldcourse, I have sent you a PM for you to call me so I can check into your issues.

Hopefully, with the tweaks that were made last night any problems you had should be sorted (I have all fingers, toes and everything else crossed...), but of course please kepp me posted because it is the feedback from you guys that help us to make things better.

Cheers guys,
Chris

Hi Guys,

Just a heads up, the iPhone app is now configured to our new servers.

Let me know if you get any problems, or if there is any feedback.

Thanks,
Chris

Chris

The feed quality tonight from 08:00 to now (13:35) server time has been really good in my opinion. Teething problems appear to have been resolved.

Thanks

Yes, of course we are looking to offer other options to improve it for everyone. The problem we often find is that many methods do not satisfy the requirements of our auditing process. We of course need to ensure that everything is correctly reconciled for both security of funds and ease of auditing and that is something that is not easily possible with all funding/withdrawal methods.

We will look at every option and anything that is suitable will be made available for our clients.
