FX never close because difference in time zone between countries "one open other close and vise verse but do we have broker have price feed moving 24/7 If so it must b his source from many feeds connected to all banks around the world other wise he close like any bank or broker and that cause a Gap.

Banks are closed and also the retail forex Brokers we use close and open at different times. As they all display there own prices these differences can cause small gaps too large gaps depending on a mix of these factors and surprising News that occur over a weekend.

I'm expecting a gap down on monday, followed by a slow grind down to 3000s by the next week.

However, it's just my thought and feel for eurusd and generally has nothing to do with fundamentals or technicals, and if for any reasons, it's just the price action, what everyone is seeing, just not everyone acting on it or believing enough of what they see to act on it.

However, just want to offer an alternative about retracing to levels above 3300s before shorting, because a break of 3300 is significant enough to be possibly big retracement (> 100), so take caution.

it's kind of science fiction.

as for the lost interest... from their point of view it might look interesting enough for now to neglect this.

that's an idea but I actually doubt that if it is let's say Tuesday and you put a mark on a price 80 pips away (in a precedent direction) from the current price in 90+% (most probably 95+%) of the cases it will be reached again in this day.

This can be checked though. Maybe I'll do this one day just our of curiosity. I don't really know how to play with the statistic on MT4. If I could export the history to excel it would be easier.

Cloggie, thank you for explaining. BTW - I am with Oanda and you can see price movement there. I wal always wondering why the price is moving in the time supposedly markets are "closed". After my stops triggered fw times on Sundays, I understood there is stops hunting game going on on Sunday and I actually move my stops up till Monday for that reason. What I also noticed - in most cases price will comeback to the Friday close level. I think one can make some money just by placing limit orders in both directions for Sunday.

pff. i know what you say.
Maybe 40 / 50% of my trades are correct, i pick tops and bottoms and patterns and pivor points and levels and what not..
Missing trades when i am right and see it move 800 pips isn't really fun.
Or friday i closed my long @ 3207 for the weekend.
Pressing the wrong button because of distraction happened to me too.. hey shouldn't i have profit now? ; whats happening to my money.

Unfortunitely, with the digital age, views-opinion-etc can't be expressed and especially interpreted the way one would wish. & because of this, context of 'words' are assumed by the reader and not the author of those words.

& with that, I would be willing to bet that a higher percentage of online chats are misinterpreted & thus have a reply that goes off-course because of this.

This is a open question not meant to be towards you or your question but please take it as more 'vague' ... but who are 'you' to assume what I know and don't know and who are you to tell me the way things are?

as i said before, you didn't lean back and think about what i said. you're going ballistic, and therefore you are not my partner for a cenversation, sorry.

as an explanation: you see something, and immediately turn on the "i'll- contradict-mode-who-the-fuck-are-you"-mode... i had to deal with enough of those people and because of that i enjoy sitting in front of my computer only talking to a selected bunch of people in real-life.

Look, I've input wrong orders and had them execute also. But I fix them fairly quickly. Holding open a fat finger trade over a weekend when there was a possibility of fairly large move this weekend was not a small error. Granted, you have peanuts on the table, but it shows a complete lack of discipline in your trading strategy.

had you stated this when i was up on this i could give you the exact % the u.s. is a member. few people know that bb is a voting member of the imf and he does have much influence. few Americans realize that their money is subsidizing the euro. the imf is just part of it. bb through the fed has funneled hundreds of billions to the ez in the past 3 years. the u.s. also pays for Europe's military protection. the day the u.s. decides to let Europe pay for its own protection and commerce. it will be a different story.

well, the thing is, he didn't actually had to face a loss. the trade itself was a bit premature, agreed, but he could have gotten out of it with a nice profit.

many of us make these mistakes, but what's the point in showing off how silly one can behave? voyeurism, but that's the only thing i could come up with.
