i hear what you are Saying..i tend to stay away on Holidays, and than see a market make a move....BUT its SoDs Law..if i enter..i am sure it will DO nothing..
BUT a NICE INVERTED HAMMER at SUPPORT..

The below charts show bullish entry signals that I am now long on:
EUR/USD: Piecing Line, while looking more like two spinning tops, of note are the similar if not equal opposing candle bodies, each with lower shadows that reject the support seen from the high in Aug. 2010.

GBP/USD: Another spinning top but with a "pin bar" formation showing rejection of the trend support line at the bottom of a bearish channel.

While neither of these is an especially strong signal (considering the Thanksgiving Holiday) I have paired back my short positions taking profit out and bringing stops up to break even for a total profit of 460 pips (or 2%). I have also entered longs on each of these pair with a calculated 1% risk

Hi Hussin

I am a big fan of your thread. It's worth to wait and see you return, after checking back so many times your thread. I sure will visit it more often these days.

I am also a fan of candlestick... but a newbie... very much like your comments and analysis.

I just discovered this thread and I must really thank you, Hussein, for the detailed explanations. As a newbie, I have been searching for demonstrations of proper use of candlesticks for a while now and your thread is so informative. Hope to get to see more of you.

go back and read it from the beginnig, download the charts and study them, it will be the best education you will ever find if you are serious about trading forex

Nice trade past week , buying the $, so, let's see how it goes this week, after long white candle past week [Bullish dollar], we could expect a bullish continuation until 1.73 first, but, I'll wait for a nice PB in first place, 1.69 acting like support now.
