When you say "new trading day" do you mean the start of a session EG London open at 0300EST or the NY close/Asian open?

I use forex4you as a broker they have a penny account. For every $10 you put in its 1,000 pennies but it shows it like dollars so if you put in least say $100 then you sort of have a $10,000 account balance.

They take Americans and no FIFO and hedge allowed. They also have traditional account too. Been with them for a few moths with out problems

LG uses FXDD charts which u can dl a demo copy of. FXDD new day starts at 5.pm EST, 10pm London.

Can't do that in one indicator. The indicator uses 6 out of the 8 buffers. I was going to do a simple "one liner" that showed green if all 3 were green and red if all 3 were red. But that didn't seem to go with the word doc. I still might do that anyway. There is another problem... it is rare that current RSI(3) = previous RSI(3) so there will usually be an up or down situation. The RSI(3) values could be rounded to 1 or 2 decimals to produce equality.

Thanks, DC. My broker is Teletrade. It provides trading for certain period of time from 0.1 lot higher. After my bitter experience I should have to master demo, first.

The H1 4 candle breakout set-up:

1. Find the directional bias on weekly, daily, H4. All must match at the time of set-up.

2. You will be looking at the bodies of the first four H1 candles of a new trading day...disregard the tails (wicks)....whenever that is for you. That is one reason period seperators need to be placed on the chart.

2. Place horizontal lines at the highest high of these four candles' bodies (not including the tails, if any) and the lowest low of these four candles' bodies, again, disregard the tails. These lines are really just R/S lines.

3. Wait for a breakout in the direction of the bias.


Has anyone coded an indicator to draw the lines?

In small on USDCHF for a few pips on this "turkey" day, for us Yanks.
Euro is showing a bit of strength while the Swiss and Auz are showing a bit of weakness.

I will try during next weekend. I will also put alarm when line is crossed. It will make BOs observing much easier.

As LG would probably say, it is risky to play against W RSI so late in week, it is also even more risky to play against M RSI so late in month. If i am wrong LG please correct me.
One day i will master this system and me and forex will be friends.

It seems that those lines are draw in the reverse order (for uptrend at the tops, and downtrend at the lows).

Thank you for everyone's contribution! I hope many will find this indicator helpful.

This is a Hanover's indicator, modified by dgodfrey for Lawgirl's H1-4C-BO method. Please read Hanover's link for details on the settings.

As an example, user can specify 1) number of days back or just the current day, 2) hours for box as well as line, 3) colors, 4) timeframe to determine 'candle body's' lines, etc. It's a great tool with many options! The modified version (Daily LinesBoxes OC) works perfect with Lawgirl's H1-4C-BO method. It's quite awesome!
