I am a day trader, trade 10% of account balance and aim for between 15 and 20 per trade. i.e. If I make only one trade a day that is 18pips when the market reverses, I call it quits for the day. I follow the trend and dont keep positions open regardless of long term views

I chose the butterfly because it has confluince on all levels, also on 50% fib and TL.
The crab and gartley are invalidated since its above 61.8.
But i am also thought it is unusual to trade the pattern before D is met.

usdchf also go its first support & may not hold , may go pullback to next one 0.9897 before the decision & if so eu more up .

just got in here to see some bull fireworks on a friday. i wonder if a pull back is possible 3662 re entry long unless a nice sell off in london target 3716 ish
news from eur might have caused this rally.

ok , here in eu for a small bull expected a spike up only from one d but trying a real bull so far.

I guess everything went alright for both of us. I closed the intraday part with a nice profit (I posted yesterday) and I got stopped out when it failed to break to LL (overnight) on the daily position we were talking yesterday.

Today, I agree with 1.3750 intraday if there is no surprises in the next few hours. I am trying to jump in since the target is still in my R:R but I will need
a decent entry that I doubt market will give me. London open maybe the last chance.

Well done to you for the longs & let see what happens.

Glad to hear you ended up in profit.

And i totally agree that its hard to find a good entry right now..you are right maybe London will give us a good opportunity.
A dip toward 1,3650 maybe. But its Friday...and i hate Fridays!

I don't see many near options for a retrace. 1.368x (which is right now), +/- 1.3667x and the 1.365x you mentioned. Below that they are far away and they will cause collateral damage (a potential change in direction).

0 reports but full of conferences from the big fishes (speeches are the worst for trading...) Let see in the next few minutes.

hey Merry, i agree with you for 1M we can short, perhaps, about 8-10pips profit. but chances are 50-50. As my 5M chart is bullish.

long euro was pretty elementary last few days - buy the bailout rumor.

So...now to sell the fact? Could be more waiting on that - into next week. Legs up may run outta rumor gas....

I am kinda skeptical about shorting now honestly.

I have some target which is considered high but valid till 1.4050

level of 3660 was important .

now all they have is 3700 which they are trying to break now .
if it gave up

I am afraid next one will be 3840
then 3950

and ultimately 1.4050

I am kinda on the side lines now . trade setups are not to my likings regarding r/r.


clearing the way up I will chicken out my shorts.
