Morning to all . I thought it will tank overnight though checked usdchf before going to bed and no any sign it down rather more up till mature. Happened eu what not expected up continue , the camel raised the head , seemingly only neck not head yet .

usdchf still to fall towards 0.9860 & so usdx to fall further from 78.79 to 78.67 around by this time & eu may up the same old long target 3613 before happen something perhaps , all mature & action possible.

Without QE from all parts of the Western World, there will be no liquidity. It's a heck of a dilemma. QE and major inflation. No QE and total collapse. There really is no in between. Our Govts (Fed State and Local) spend too much money and to shut off the spigot right now would send us into something that would make the Great Depression look like a picnic in the park.

Unless the FED monetizes the debt, there is not enough savings in the world to buy it all

The liquidity trap is even worse in this age because of the ease with which money is now able to move from place to place all over the world. In the past, the QE money would have found a home in the US and helped to stimulate. Now it just moves to markets that offer better alternatives to US investment.

It is something that Keynes could have never envisioned. They have created a hydra.

I don't get that.
If the world economy has collapsed and no money is worth anything.
Then gold can't be worth any money because money doesn't exist anymore..
Also buying virtual gold in the market with leverage doesn't work either because that gold doesn't really exist. And still people buy it. And still the price of physical gold is determined by it.
Only physical gold may become worthy if a new currency emerges out of the rubble that is based on gold again..
Only i hope we get rid of the concept of money altogether when the system colapses and people realize we are really all born equal. No need for one to have more then another.

That is his point. He thinks people are crazy to buy virtual gold. He claims the physical metal is the only viable option.
