Hi,
Thanks for your post,
The App currently only works on Iphone 3gs and Iphone 4 that have the IOs4 update. A new update has been added that means it will work for all IPads, Iphones and Itouch in the next couple of days so redownload in a few days and it should be fine on both your devices.

Cheers

Hi,
You have noticed one of our new additions to our service , aswell as having our usual 24hour dealing and IT support we also now in preperation for our planned expansion into Europe have local live chat and general customer service available until the close of London trading.

If you can ring them from time to time to make sure they are awake that would be great.

Cheers

teheh. if i'm bored ya never know...

well, seems avg may not be the culprit, but it was time for avg to go anyway (installing it was a true mindfart and i realised only after i finished installing it). seems to be some conflict with admin/non-admin privileges. got it up and working by reinstalling (run as admin) and then setting the terminal to run as admin too. a mis-match of that seems to break it. don't know why it used to run and then decided not to. possibly some windows / hp laptop update along the way broke something.

I've been using Go Markets live for a few months and am happy with the spreads, execution and service.

They seem quite reputable and honest.

I downloaded the iPhone GM MT4 app to my iPhone 3GS with iOS 4.x

The iPhone App works OK, but is a little clunky and had trouble loading the first couple of times I ran it. After then it was OK. Fine to check open positions and maybe place an occasional trade, but painful for regular use.

I think I have previously mentioned it, but we are currently waiting on PayPal t get back to us about this, and we may well be able to introduce this. We should know in the next week or so. It is important to know, that this will only allow us to send AUD should it all be ok.

I will make sure I let you know as soon as we know!

^ Yes, I am. They are very good. In the last 6 months since I have been using them I have only had about 10 minutes of down time during the trading week, yesterday as it happens. This is in stark contrast to the company I was using before who were about half the price but would have an outage every couple of days.

Ping time last time I checked was about 20ms, and I never have any issues with delayed order execution.

Not that I've encountered. The other thing is that the one time they have had scheduled maintenance it was on the weekend with 48hrs notice - which is when it should be if they are offering a specific MT4 VPS. This is a concept the previous mob I was using did not comprehend.

They don't seem to be too bad, hopefully CNS will look into setting up some servers over in Australia. I see that happening for those brokers without a nearby USA or London server location.

The new vps page on gomarkets is http://www.gomarketsaus.com/metatrader4/vps-hosting/

Another one is http://www.mt4i.com/spread/broker.aspx?brokerid=19
There was fxintel, but I find that a bit useless. You need average spreads over a longer period of time in order to do any meaningful analysis. I like how mt4spreads and especially mt4i do this for us on the fly.

Brokers will tell you anything, but i think this type of self-monitoring is what helps to keep the integrity of the forex spreads.

I've had a live GoMarkets account for a while and am happy with them.

The GM iPhone app works fine, but is more suited to occasionally checking the account rather than active trading.

hi Chris,

Spreads on the pmi just out where excellent again on the back of the last NFP, tightened up very quickly after the release (EURUSD). Have you guys added new liquidity providers or data centers? way it's going I may not do any more FX trading with interactive Brokers. Or are the new servers running now? what ever it is keep it up!

Cheers,

>Apoca<
