Ok buddies just some food for thought,

Remember the run up to 4300 qe2 the dollar is trash eur going to 1.5000.
news full of dollar devalueing ?
This happened at the top as it turns out .

Now I am seeing nothing but bad news for eur zone Ireland going bankrupt eur getting scrapped other eur countries need financial help or they going bankrupt.

The more focus on bad eur news the more bullish i feel.

I was thinking 1.3000 now I'am not so sure .

Its background info but nice to know.

Hmmm media focus on bad eur news need to be cautious.
making green pips large and red pips small this is my goal.

I don't know what "real news trading" is. Information is there and you can either try to use it or ignore it. If you're wise and lucky you might have some information you have enough time to act on profitably. Eurozone sovereign CDS spreads and bond spread highs were higher today than they were yesterday. You could expect pressure on the euro based on that. Then ECB supporting PIIG's paper is a pattern, too, and those bounces are predictable.

Daily cash flows in CDS's is huge, bigger than the stock and commodity market flows. If you have access to realtime trading data on that otc market you have some valuable information - there's a reason why access is expensive.

"Trading the news" - catching volatility off the scheduled news announcements - fine for what it is worth. That's not the kind of "information" an informed fundamentals trader might try to capitalize on, nor anything available on CNBC.....

Personally, mid term I fancy 3300 (especially if we do a pull back first from the current level, would then be a 161% projection as well as previous resistance) before a final impulse leg up to meet the monster trend line, possibly by the end of the year, It's been my thinking since the start of Oct, but is really just speculation...

1116 GMT [Dow Jones] EUR/USD comes off the day's 1.3720 lows to trade at 1.3765. The majority of euro zone peripheral yield spreads have come in a little, ECB's Stark has made some supportive comments such as Greek program on track and there is no euro crisis and European equity bourses are now trading positive.

Good point, couple weeks ago, so called experts were saying Euro/dollar would hit 145 this year, now there saying by end of year it will hit 131, this was based on there analysis and you know they use charts, the bad Euro news came into play and the over hyped QE2 factor, changed everything, news and events run currencies not charts, lol

I am bearish but i trade both ways. Seems eur/chf could not take it and usd/chf goes up. Tricky drop.
