Of course if you want have a chance in a top investment firms an MBA is a MUST (ivy league or oxbridge to be sure) and you need to be very young graduate with high grades AND without much experience especially in trading (most of time top investment banks when recruiting graduates they look for "sheeps" to be mold more than people with lots of prejudgments)...
Disagree in some respect with this, agricultural economic classes can really help you trade soft and ag commodities, even if you are shitty at charting. Otherwise I wish I had a computer science degree, and agree with your post 100%.

wow that's an amazing bounce on the 1hr time frame it really its been up and down and we are where we started the day. In theory no one should have lost a penny if they just held there position.

If you are bull inclined, do you think this could be a good opportunity to go long ?? We cant just bounce back down again can we ?

Following on from this inertia from the last hour does anyone think 3900 might be on the cards in next few hours or during the Asia session. Or is Asia going to sell the Euro again ???

EU news fade trade

Just entered short at 1.37715.

I fully expect to be stopped out at -25 pips.
Took the trade because of it's potential for low risk high gain.
TP: I manually trail and ride as long as I think I can.

But, 3 times earlier today price popped above the 290 MA and then dove short again.

Also, my bias is short at my 1H, 4H, are short bias and D1 looks like it might turn short.

Just had the news reaction and it's not unusual after the news for it to go right back where the spike started. If you are loooking for a long at least look for a retrace that offers a low risk sl.

If I was looking for a long I'd Look for a H, L, LH sequence on the 15 H and when the entry looked good put the SL behind the last low.

eu into friday

buyers turned up today so thinking at least a 38 % reatrcement assuming we get 150 pip move then 1.3920

It is all about planning and sticking to your convictions. Not jumping on candles too soon as you saw earlier on that fakeout and generally just getting a feel for price behaviour and range plays.

No indicators, no fancy trickery just read the price and how she interacts with different levels. With time you will distinguish between the minors, the majors and the final targets.

Don't trade every pip, just trade the action between 2 ranges or a range and a major, that is usually good for 60-100 pips a trade. This mornings play I covered was major to major and good for 120 pips, purely by figuring out where the big boys had their stops and how they were protecting it.

Trading like this works for me, it may never work for you, trading methodology is very personal and you need to find something that works for you.
