On our way down we did this same consolidation on the weekly. (See chart) We then continued down. I see the same thing now just the opposite way. I believe that 61.8 will be hit to take out all of the sellers in this weeks drop, and get the herd heading long. oh and i have adjusted my tp to 4400 to fall short of the 61.8 fib. Either I'll be correct or be stopped out, the sl is a 100 pip trailer. Not expecting tp till next week, or possibly week after.

Did I say malcolm? where does it say so? TBH there are many +10v who I never take seriously as they know NOTHING about trading. If u have recognized urself in the post its not my problem. By the way making INTRADAY calls is A LOT harder then trading on a longer TF.

And I make intraday analysis almost every day here on this thread, and u know what i want in return???

I agree .. you are great. and yes that post I referred to was in discussion about me.

Intraday trading is easy .... long term trading is harder .. well using 30 pip stops to make 400 it is, . Intraday traidng just needs patience.


I mostly like day trading es and tf as the hours suit me and being mostly autotraded they are really predicatble once you get used to them.

I use volume spread analysis for all my trades , when I come in US session i look at london for history of what the pros have been up to . It was not tough to see at 5am this morning my time ( start us ) that the market was being sold into off 3950 .

here is the chart .. pretty easy trades and all with vsa principles off s/r areas

I did throw posts of this stuff in my vsa thread

this is where 3735 came from... its great for times like this. i have noticed the number is no other place. the closest is murry at 3732. but you can see at this moment in time we are here. the point, pointing here is months old on the chart.

I traded eu up today for 40 and down for 145 .

ES I hit a sell at open ( I mostly like day trading es and tf as the hours suit me and being mostly autotraded they are really predicatble once you get used to them)

i think long term is much easier than intra mate....
less false error n dun bother much on ranging trade....n the most importantly much more safest

Ok , I strongly disagree with u on this.

Dear Malcolm, making intraday calls, target price and stops is A LOT HARDER then long term trading in a way of being precise and exact in the trades.

Intraday analysis is more complicated then longer term analysis, believe me I do that every single day. target price and stop loss including r:r ratio need a thorough analysis every day prior to london sesion.

And who said im great? Im just an ordinary trader who wants to help more and less experienced traders to achieve better performance as this is my profession and i love it.

I am an OTA graduate with 4-6 hours of webinars every week for the rest of my life with the likes of Sam Seiden and Sam Evans showing me the levels to play of the 4hr charts... so I don't know why I come back to this place anymore. Oh yes, I forgot... the amusement value... lol

True but the patience or anxiety of watching other setups can make it just as difficult.

tonyo, where do you think the eur will fall to once it hits the 1.44/45 area and how long do you think it will take?

I personally have a heavy sell order at 1.45 for a multi month decline..

intraday is easier.. most times I swing trade I get hammered but intraday i just have to wait till a vsa set up turns up .. l;ike a test in an uptrend or a no demand in a downtrend etc

eu moves an average of 150 pips aday. Once london gets rocking and using whatever system it is we can find top and bottom , and then using your average range ...targets are simple

note how 150 pip off asia low took us right to 1.3972 to the pip and this is where sellers turned up , admitted the moved down was remarkable.

Now lewst assume eu moves to 1.3825 and finds sellers .. our target is 1.3675 for the session .

GU daily range is a little lower than eus right now and ES had an average daily range of 12 points hence the 1208 low today off 1122 high

Honestly I was waiting on if and when that time comes to do further analysis. I'm looking for a continuation of the Dec 2009 downtrend, but if we hit my anticipated tp the possibility of further upside is highly possible.

The current 4 hour candle low at 3734 gives me a double bottom with the 4hr candle that formed the weekly low on Oct 27th... to the pip exact 3734. Watching for the close of this 4hr to consider buying this formation.
