Yea you're probably right but on a demand supply perspective I see people holding off on buying... unless your a speculator and buying just to sell for profit. I see people reducing the amount of gold they want to buy (for gifts, weddings etc) instead of buying more because they think its going up.

For that reason alone I think the fundamentals calls for it to be alot lower until people are rushing to buy again.

I do care long term, does not mean I can't trade it intraday against my long term views. I still don't see this retrace as a long term trend reversal unless this mass bailout continues and 1.36 goes. However when I look at this on a 1 year + view I don't see the euro outperforming the dollar, so there it is.

Intraday short, monthly still long till 1.36 goes, 5 year+ euro? what euro.

I'm not seeing the normal consolidation on cable or fibre for the LO, and it seems the asian session is moving things a lot more than usual. Do you look for anything specifically on the Daily's and Weekly's that tell you things aren't normal, and to just look for the small breakouts or 20 pips or so?

there increasing the amount needed to hedge silver. so you just got many buyers priced out. i guess gold is next.

I tend to look for the longer trades, I walked through this here on the thread from 3916 all the way down to 3806 for 100+ pips. I'll take them as they come, right now I am just taking the 20-30 pip runners. Am keeping a close eye on this bounce here.
