Why get out at the bottom of the range with no clear projection through it? Just wait for price to come back to your entry and get out at at BE or or only a few pips down. Then re-evaluate the range play and take your next trade accordingly.

Couldn't agree more! Best about extremes is I can put my SL where it won't hurt too bad. Some also seem to be following noise from small TF charts. If there's a plan -then we should trust it.

So, if 3946 takes us to 3972 does a break of 3916 take us to 3899 which is the 50% fib retracement of the morning's move?

Small TF's can be noisy, but if you play close attention and make decisions quickly they can lead to good setups and identification of ranges and breakouts on the larger TF's. They are hard work but are the staple of the intraday trader.

With this expanding reverse triangle formation pressure is building towards the upside. and yes 3946 needs to be cleared.

Love small TF's for entries - but trust my plan after that. yeah - always need to keep my eyes peeled like a Hawk for good ones - lol!

Hi everyone,

I see, for now, 2 charts possibilities (of coarse IF is in the game too).
1. - complete wave 4 and starting 1.of 5 up to new tops (ending 1.of 5 around 1.4290/1.4310 area).
2. - correction in wave 2 with simple ABC (1.4050.. area) or larger ABC (1.4170 - 1.42 area)

of coarse 3. is building 4 wave in this trend down and move with 5 below 1.38, but I have strong divergences (MACD and Stoch) on M30 and 1H pointing UP move.

The hardest thing to identify is where the ranges form before they actually do, that is often an overlooked skill for retailers even though a currency will sit in a range for 70-80% of the time.

Learning to sit on your hands while the range plays out and catch the breaks will do wonders for you win/loss ratio.
