It's just appalling to me looking at the fact that their website does not say anything about what has been happening; technical glitch or whatever.

They don't explain the cause of the issue, nor apologize.

I moved to dbFX.
FxPro used to be good, and I said it loudly here on the forum, but now they're messing things up. They only care about their brand in preparation for the IPO.

Last time I checked, Financial Times was not running the FXPro demo either for laughs or for real.

Some dealing desk brokers will resort to system freezes if their trading "book" (inventory) becomes severly imbalanced to their detriment and the customers' gain, ie. if they can't lay off the risk/hedging sufficiently to net out the customers' trades. They will then freeze the system or pretend there was a server problem, etc.

Obviously, this would be theft. Hard to know what is legit. or what happened here.

some of the support-guys still deny that FXPro is having any server problems.
Some say it has never happened, some say it only happens on demo, some even say it only happens when I'm not using the MT4-version downloaded from their webpage.

I'm a bit sad, as it started as a quite reliable br*ker.


BTW, I have proof at hand that FxPro is using the MT4 Virtual Dealer PlugIn

Some of my trades took 4 to 8 seconds to be executed... It's for sure the Virtual Dealer PlugIn.

Hey,
in the last half year, with FxPro I realize a lot of order delay..
Also if I wanna change the SL of an order, sometimes it takes 5-10 seconds.
This is on demo... How will it be Live?

Is this what we should expect from our broker??

One year ago I planned to go live with FxPro.
Now I'm sure I won't..
