I've abandoned the EU gap fill trade. I had a sell stop below the number 2 point on a 123 reversal on the 5M, but it never triggered, and then price went up. So it saved me from a potentially bad trade. The gap may fill eventually, but not for me!

This pair has been trading in a narrow range (consolidation) for the past nine hours or so. RSI is heading down. May have a BO short.

H4, D1, and W1 all pointing up, so entered using 123 long formation on 5M chart to confirm direction. SL about 13 pips (below recent support on 5m chart), TP 40 pips (below recent resistance, not visible on 5M chart, but is visible on 15M chart, which I did not post)

This pair should be moving in one direction or the other before long...can't tell which direction yet.

Yes, there are no exact numbers, only areas, because TLs are not exact and each traders are going to be different and noone's are either right or wrong...does that make sense. Looks like your opening on that candle was a tap anyway.

Thanks Lawgirl. But I hope I'm not just another pretty chart. My trade is languishing, not sure if it really wants to go up. My tight stoplosses may be the death of me. Especially this time of night. No volume, no follow-through. Tight SLs work better when US/London markets are open with high volume. We'll see!
