Wait for reaction. See what market really think about those reports and news.

I don't think your comments are that accurate. The moves seconds or mins before a major announcement (like yesterday for example) happens becasue liquidity evaporates and the minimum trade can make price jump from bid to ask in big spreads. These moves are nothing to do with investors trying to anticipate a move. Yesterday is a clear (of course after the fact is even easier) example of the positioning. Longs got in 1 or 2 hour before when price was sitting down 1.40xx (thats why during the release the fast noisy moves reach that level and explode to the upside... it found real buying there not air ...) but the quick moves just secs before and after the release were just 0 liquidity (nobody wants to put a trade).

You can clearly see this if you have level 2 or a DOM in futures where you can see the bid/ask contracts in a latter. In other words and IMHO having fastest news alerts is not going to make any difference (it will, if you have insider information and know how to use it ...but thats not the case for any of us here) in your trading. Either you anticipate and position yourself well in advance or you wait until news settle down.

My understanding is that IFR subscribers see news announcements 1-2 minutes earlier than public release. (Somebody correct me if I'm wrong...)

I just use the free IFR feed from Oanda. I trade in the volatility after the news typically so the quicker feed doesn't interest me. Its spendy, too, like $5-10k a month - I think? Can't remember. Depending on how/what you trade, though, there's other info for the subscribers that might be handy.

Also - if you want to trade news - always take the currency pairs which are most affected by it - put a buy position on 1 - with 10 pips stop loss and sell position on other with 10 pips stop loss - do this 2 min before annoucement and you have guaranteed profit

Closed at 1.4237.

It broke 20EMA at 1min tf so next was 20EMA at 5min tf were i supposed it to bounce at 1.4230.

200EMA is way too far yet, this is trending market so i wait upside from here, not sure about I-D high but i will short a new high of course.

EDIT: European stocks need to bit cool down for a decent move. NY may not be that eager to kick this pair up.
