I'm not pro weed. I'm pro...well I would say "choice" but that's been taken by a group lobbying on a different subject.

Education would be the word.

My take on it is very simple. Legalize all drugs.

"But crime will be rampant" - Actually, if it was legal, the incentive for organized crime to be involved would be nil which would remove the element of risk and therefore lower the price. If the price is low, there's no need for a junkie to break into your car so he can pawn your Jonas Brothers CD's.

I never understood why it would be perfectly legal for anyone to smoke, snort or inject whatever is under their kitchen sink (hey I said legal, I didn't say it wasn't retarded) but illegal to use something else.

Instead of giving all sorts of scary stories to kids in schools, educate them. Tell them what the drugs are, what they do and so on.

Then show them a picture of Keith Richards and tell them they'll look like this if they say yes.

it was a bs law cause they never proved it was harmful. they never could prove it was a drug. a drug has medicinal value. but they put it under drug enforcement. if i recall correctly hoover didn't want to enforce it at first . and the supreme court refused to hear the case. the party that prides itself on small government created a new department. welcome to ozzz

sydney only does a small fraction of vol. during the current time, middle east is trading, so is india and china and soon eastern europe desks will be running. Then follows western europe and london. the ny-lon overlap is where over 50% of daily vol is traded.

Totally agree on all counts.

Here where I live - Sth Australia - Pot was legal till not that long ago. You could grow 9 plants as huge as you like, it was real nice...
However, eventually the break-ins (to steal growing weed and money) and violence surrounding the 'legal weed' was worse than when it was illegal.
The people couldn't 'police' themselves, so they made it illegal again.

when Clinton was in office we had a similar republican take over. the circled green candle on the chf is what happened. that candle is 924 pips. after the 924 pips you can see what happened. then it dropped. the blue arrow shows 7200 pips in a later up move.
