I am sorry, but your friend is wrong. I travelled to Dubai 50 times may be more and always come to the US on Emirates (I am a gold member) n times a year. Never held or questioned by the US authorities for staying in Dubai (for several days). By the way I carry a Pakistani Passport.

That's why California is now growing so much weed. They would have to spend too much money to raid all the patches. Starts to sound like the end of alcohol Prohibition.

im neutral on the matter. but if it cost 40k py to imprison someone selling or using it. id say make it legal. we got a few hundred billion in savings there. then tax the legal sales....you have more savings in less law enforcement.. via local cops, state, federal, including the coast guard ect. or they could be focused on something else.

but law enforcement is a business also. big money backs it. follow the money. the ones who begrudge government are the first ones out with their hand. begging for government welfare.

yea it certainly does......i think they are realizing now(since cali is broke) that they need some more tax revenue and what better way to get it than a sin tax. Watch crime rates plummet in cali if this gets passed......i know i sound like a hippie lol, but this could literally save cali.

Absolutely. It's just practical, and also it keeps 'good people' out of a system that tends to propagate more and more crime. They then work and generate income and taxes to pay, everyone's a winner
