I am long on the EU but against the GBP.

first target reached and still have room for extra 30-40 pips .

just seems EU is bullish . can't find reason to short it even on 5m chart.

Before shorting check out GU/EG at resistance points.

This effort will likely happen near hourly close.
They think they are smarter than I am.

i think the last quarter will be much better for usd. i will be short around 140-141. on friday the non farm data will also show the way and will break some pivot points. and firms profit espicially banks expected really higher than before. we will be around 1.35 at the end of this year and when we look at some datas(still unemployment data is unknown and growth rate will be stuck) in the long term i still see euro weakness. so when you have a decision to take a long from around 140 please be careful cause the financial crysis effects are not so weak still got some issues

Wave E of a triangle can both undershoot or overshoot the AC-Trendline, and according to EWP it happens more often than not.

Therefore Wave E of the triangle might be ready and we are in a "thrust" up. The thrust following a triangel is often a swift, short motive wave, sometimes a ending diagonal. The distance such a "thrust"travels is often equal the widest distance in the triangle.

When we have concluded the triangle at 3863, the the target for such a thrust would be 4326.

Sometimes we see instead of a thrust a prolonged wave 5. That would be the case, when 4326 will be overrun.

As I write this, the recent up-leg has retraced 82% of the last down move, and it looks more and more impulsive.

Another option that comes to mxy mind is, that sometimes in a triangle, Wave C, D or E itself subdivides into a contracting or barrier triangle.

That could be the case here. Maybe 4011 was not the top of wave D, instead it was Wave C of the triangle in Wave red D, yesterdays down was blue wave d and todays up blue wave e of the red wave D triangle.

Triangles like to fool us. They are time consuming and no short affair. Triangles are a balance of forces, causing a sideway movement, forcing an equilibrium. They normally are associated with decreasing volume and volatility.

Now we are hanging a few pips away from the red B/D trendline. If it gets broken, we are either in the Wave 5 already or we are in the above mentioned wave blue "e" of wave red D of the triangle.

We will see...

On 15min chart we have a RSI value of nearly 83. That reading is higher than that at the former peak at 4011. That is telling.....
