I m using it for now about 5 till 6 months some times it pereform well but you must find a way to avoid ranging market. its important to know when not to trade becuase its like every trendfollower it works well in trending market but ranging market will give you false signals and you must find a way how to filter this fals signals.
but in trending market it give very nice pips.

I'm really new and very impressed with this forum. I went through the forum from page 1 to the end and gathered all references, except the documentation which I missed and downloaded them to setup the system. I used FXDrive's scanner with the font enhancements as my starting point to get the system running on my computer. In doing so, I noticed several minor visual problems and felt as a newcomer to the forum, I should make some contribution to the forum so I fixed the visual problems and also implemented the DefaultPairsList and OnlyScanTonysPairs.
The minor visual problems involved resetting the default color variable from green to blue in the TrendLord and TrendLordBars indicators as well as making the corresponding change from Green to Blue in the Scanner. So now Blue is the positive "buy" color indication, Yellow is the indeterminate color indication and Red is the negative "sell" indication.
The DefaultPairsList now contains the multiple sets of currency pairs that you want to scan, e.g. EURUSD,EURGBP,EURJPY,.... The maximum this list can hold is 30 pairs. Each currency pair is separated from the next by a comma; there is no comma after the last currency pair. However, if you want to use fewer, just delete or add the pairs you are interested in. The scanning order is determined by your list, in the example above EURUSD will be first, EURGPB second and so on. If you have a different list save it as a preset.
I have created a zip file HA T3 Scanner ver4 which includes an Experts directory and inside of this directory, there is a Indicators subdirectory containing all of the indicators needed to run the scanner and probably an additional several more that I found in the replies to this forum.
Additionally in the zip file, there is a Templates directory containing the 4 template files. Please note that I revised the Email Off versions, "ha t3 4 hour trendlord bars email off" and "ha t3 entry signal email off" to correspond to my color preferences. Part of the change will now allow you to view either the Hekin Ashi bars alone or both the Hekin Ashi bars together with candles. To view the HA bars alone, press the line graph icon at the top of your screen and to add Candles, press the Candle Icon.
There is also a Profiles directory that contains my HA T3 profile which will load up a screen with several H1 pairs.
One problem I found is that you cannot click on the Happy Face or press F7 to get the properties list to come up. I think that this is caused by the computational complexity of the SCANNER which scans multiple currencies using many instances of the multiple indicators. I checked out previous versions and they all behave the same. In addition, I removed half of the default variables to see if it was an MT4 properties limit problem but even with the reduced list, the properties page would not appear. To get around it, remove the Scanner from the chart and then drop it back onto the chart and the properties page will appear.
As a newcomer, I hope that I did not offend anyone by making these changes and posting them to the forum as I think that this is a very beneficial System. If I did so, it is out of ignorance with the policies that I should have followed. If RWATSON or someone else can point me towards the Word document containing the Scanner documentation, I will update it for my changes and resubmit it for review before publication.

i just want to say thank you for that wath you have did.
and it will be apperciated if you can add the ADX on the 4H as a trend filter to the scanner or make just an version with that option .
so for example the option should be
ADX4H filter on/of
ADx niveau 22
so as you know this will keep us ulso out of ranging markets.
because most of the trendfollowrs system works in trending market but give false signals in ranging markets i thing with this indicator as a filter we can get less fals signals.
I think you are missing something, the ADX has three graphs, the ADX, the PlusDi and the MinusDi. Be specific and define which subgraph to use and its threshold values for both positive and negative trend indications.

wath i mean is that for that we get an definded trend so on the 4H chart for long should the DI+ be above the DI- and the ADX line should be above 20 (or above other number wath every fit the trader)and for short the opposite.
so that should be an option to filter if there is a good trend on the 4h chart.

you can ulso make a sconde option for the conservative traders.
that should be ulso an ADX on the 30M chart.
if we use adx on 30M
and we want to get an confirmed long signal then the DI+ should ulso be above the DI- and the ADX line should be above 20 (or other number wath fits the trader) .
so then we have an option to set the ADX on at the 4H chart and all other conditions and HA T3 rulls should be met if that is the Case for buy
then we get (now we have a good definde trend on the 4H)
and nowwe are waiting for an entry buy signal from the 30M
and if we choose to set the ADX on at the 30M chart then if the conditions are met at the 4H and ulso the HA T3 rulls are ulso met on the 30M then it should look at the ADX on the 30M if the DI+ is above the DI- .
then we get an confirmed buy signal .
its better to make an option for people how want to only look at the ADX line and not at the DI+ and DI- an option to only look at the ADX line and not at the DI+ and DI-
because some time the DI+ and DI- crosse much later.

Capedoddah i hope you are coding the ADX to this scanner. it can become a good system.
for all other traders there are some vidoes on youtube that is similar to this system and i Know from videos we will learn allot more than only from pictures or text explained.

You could answer 0,0,0,true and then the filter would only check for the relationship of the DIplus and DIminus for the sale. Or 20,0,0,true would add the filter that the ADX line has to be above 20 in addition to the relationship of the DIplus and DIminus.

I dont have any idea about coding but i thing wath jood says is good this will be good options so that we avoid side ways markets.
but i thing if you can add the option that we trader have the chooice where the ADX line should be so the option could look like this
ADX lijn 4H = true/false
ADX lijn 30M=true/false
ADX lijn 4h above= 20 or wath fit the trades it self
ADX lijn 30M above=20 or wat fit the trader it self.
and the for the DI+ and DI- you can make the options to
ADX DI+ ,DI- 4H= true/false if true then then it will look at it before it give a confirmed 4h trend.

This system will work if you have and idea how to stay out of ranging market. and it need practicing,
Could he be a request of mine? Could be so change, that let there be buy automatically due to the signature buy/sell, and the sealing of the position? I would like to try it on an demo account.
