Intraday EUR/USD: remains choppy, but still within the confines of a bull-flag correction following Friday's cap at 1.3952. However, while support around 1.3845 holds, a return to the session high at 1.3952 is likely, threatening scope for further upside to 1.4000 and the flag resistance line at 1.4026. Only a sustained break below 1.3845/50 would extend the directionless tone, exposing 1.3797.

In stocks I know which house who leaves the stock and who comes and that is a very powerful tool... Together with co-efficiancy, media and new trading money added every day makes it alot easier... unless you trade intra...
If say intraday i have a 233 tick chart and the volume reads 1million on one candle and then 500,000 on another candle is that not giving me an indication of the size being traded during them trades .

The low volumes being retail traders and were we see high volumes indicating the smarter money.

I want to make sure my interpretation is correct .

Your probably not going to get the things you mention in stocks , but dont you think in fx that tick volume at least shows you were commercial versus retail traders are?

There is a lot less "homework" involved in forex i feel like not having to sift through loads of stocks to find out which are moving and which aren't.
Fx moves all the time.

I'm using tick volume as well...since a few time already.
From what i see is that tick volume is completely useless without a proper use of the price action.
Cause sometimes volumes keeps growing...you see big vol on a down bar so you short...then the next one is a green bar with higher vol.
So you'd better be cautious using it.

It should only ever be read in the context of what is going on in the back ground...

Gold H4 looks like a bull trap to me...but i dont trade it so i'm not used to the gold PA...so i might be totally wrong.

I have come to the conslusion lately that prior to any announcement regarding the USD all you need to do is BUY Eur/USD as 99% of news enables the Euro to shoot up.

Doesnt matter good or bad news from US as long as there is news the Euro goes up.
On Euro news dont do anything as it is unpredictable but any USD news is good for 25 pips minimum. Today is a prime example.
