i don't know if that is true. bonds are bought by chinesse too and other foreign investors. don't believe ECB bigger than FED. FED uses trillions. ECB and BOE are on billions.

the usdx...usd index chart is bearish...euro might continue up if the usd bearish persist

H1 close below 1,3860 and it could be a price formation for short.
So better take care of this H1 close.

ECB has to deal with disparate economic policies while the FED only deals with one policy. ECB bought up more Irish debt cuz no-one else wanted it. Not a good sign. Greek fiscal policies are already be questioned as not stringent enough. Spain is desperado for money.

When the euro strengthens it is felt all over Europe in deifferent ways while of the $ falls Joe Public in the US don't really notice all that much cuz prices don't change that much unlike Eurozone where you see prices for commercial goods soar.

your assumption are based on fiscal austerity fails in Europe (Greece - Spain)
what if they succeed ?

A family full of debt chose the path fiscal responsibility or austerity until they can bring down debt do you think has a bigger chance of surviving rather than a family that now that is full of bank debt goes to family's friends. sharks and lend more money. In real life that doesn't work.

So if We can print our way out of recension well that's something. it would be the first time in history that works. but it's not the first time we've tried.

So ? I favor fiscal responsibility than insane spending spending.

Hi Z3iz3i, just a qn here, cos i dont understand the theory behind..

does that mean we need to see Dow and S&P move UP to see EURUSD move up too?
or is it stocks DOWN, EURUSD UP ?
