Broke through a resistance line today. If the line holds now, could be a good chance to go long.

what your graph tells me is that every green smudge is followed by a red smudge that is three times bigger...
this pig cannot be slaughtered for ever... or can it?

Here is the COT for last few weeks & last 52 week graph. Pretty clear that vast majority of traders remain bullish on Yen (79% bullish) & there are x3.7 more shorts at present. IMO that is out of whack. That is why Japan ain't happy, they say Yen is climbing because of speculation, Ok too volatile they say.

If you look at the USD index COT for current and previous week you can see that it's all pretty balanced, non-commercials increased Long positions & reduced short positions.

this COT thing is new to me .

how does one read the graphs and interpret it ?

how is this futures correlates with spot ? (or how good is the correlation )

COT gives me, at least, the general sentiment of big players, that's all. IMHO

seeing a new dawn ?

a sign of reversal in infancy ?

do a double bottom within the range ( 82.34 - 80.40) and then a take-off ?

nice if it follows this script .... but ,will it .. ?

sigh .... its frustrating ... can't upload the charts .. despite making more than 10 attempts , including resetting Safari , emptying cache ... wonder what could be the solution to this problem ..

Nah it will not fall back into the trend channel, already break out, maximum retracement 81.00

can Mac users tell why I am unable to upload the charts ?

is it because it is in png ?

if yes, how to change the default png to say, jpeg ?

any other issues u can tell me to correct my Mac ?

I use Chrome or Firefox, Safari doesn't work for me. (I'm a web developer BTW)

Png should be fine.....I use photoshop at work to crop images etc, so I save as jpg as a matter of habbit. Actually I just looked at the list of allowable attachments, and png is indeed fine.

I guess you're using Safari, which is also fine, I use it all the time. Have a look at he preferences of Safari and see whether file uploads is disabled.

If you are using Grab It for image capture then it only saves in TIFF & that doesn't upload. You need to preview it and resave as png.
