longs need to watch the trend line . we need to go above it for any longs . this could be a 5 wave which will take it to 100% fib projection

Attached. Its a moving average, but i dont know what the parameters are. It works out nicely for big moves but for moves which dont go very far you will find that you will loose out on the trade.

I have the Hull Moving Average indi, but am not aware of any broker that has it with their MT4. I had a friend code it for me.

lol you're mean. that daily red hma just crushed the hourly green hma
My D1 opened an hour ago, got up to see where the rollover is. 3859, means still on course for another leg down likely.

you can add that indicator that i posted to your MT4 indicator folder (then restart MT4) and it will appear under custom indicators. It will work under any TF.

Yeah its good time to short now on Daily TF, but requires alot of pips SL to back you up. I mean we could still visit 4000 again, its within range of the daily and just a bit of news and thats all it would take.

yep i was about 80% sure we had a hard top last night. i was about 90% sure 4153 was close a few weeks back. but like a dummie i closed that one.. and kept the gu monday. ....i picked it up after were i closed it.. but that just makes my broker rich. . anyway im short ej, long uj, short gu (may close) short eu.... that's all i need atm...my chf long i closed Friday.. i didn't hold if over the weekend.

By the way....I'm playing around with the CCI automation bit tonight....trying to determine the best, or rather best combination, of filters for trending vs. consolidation conditions. Approaches currently being considered: Bollingers, Donchain's Channel, Keltner Channels.....any others you think I should add to the list?

CHARTING EUROPE: GBP/USD On Course For Weakness To $1.5385

LONDON (Dow Jones)--Sterling is beginning to show a bit of vulnerability against the U.S. dollar, and risk is growing for a more incisive downside move towards $1.5500 and $1.5385.

Concerns that the uptrend in GBP/USD was running out of steam began with the bear hammer reversal candle at $1.6104 on Oct. 15. Realisation that a push above the psychologically-important $1.6000 level is unsustainable has sunk in, leaving the $1.6104 peak as a significant bull trap and prompting a sharp setback to $1.5649.

A period of lateral consolidation has ensued, but with upside scope limited to the $1.5877/$1.5900 area, support at $1.5649 is expected to come under a barrage of fresh, more substantial bear pressure.

USD May Rise On Uncertainty On Possible QE - Dealer

2318 GMT [Dow Jones] USD will likely continue to rise as investors uncertain about magnitude of possible quantitative easing measures expected to be decided at FOMC meeting next week, says Shinkin Central Bank dealer Takayuki Asahara. Investors piled up massive USD short positions against major currencies in recent weeks on expectation of potential QE measures by Fed. Says USD/JPY may rise to 82.00, but further rises unlikely as Japan exporters will likely to increase their sales at month-end. Pair last 81.33. Says pair's downside limited at 80.50 as investors still cautious about potential JPY-selling intervention by Japan authorities. As investors reduce USD short positions, EUR/USD biased down, may trade in 1.3700-1.3950 range. Pair last 1.3856. Says EUR/JPY may trade in 112.40-113.30 band, roughly within yesterday's range.
