Doesn't make any difference. Put the Indi ON a chart (doesn't matter if u can see it there or not) then right click on the chart, indicator list, find the indi,double click on the indi and change the inputs until u can see it on chart. Don't try to do it from the nav bar.

Quick question: does these EA works with Horizontal Lines?

Seems like the EAs only prefer to work with Trend Lines

PH, Ive done that numerous times and it will never let me adjust it. Gotta be because the platform is not traded live? Just trying to move the indicator up to the indicators list and I seem to be able to adjust perrameters there? do appreciate your patients. Just seems that particular method will not work for me. We came along way today just getting both tred charts there.

I have a cpl of MT4 demo's and it works fine so not being live acct isn't the issue for sure. I am all out of ideas tho sorry. Maybe uninstall, reboot MT4 and re-install?

You will have to reboot MT to activate the indicator...it's a mq4 file and needs to be compiled, either by compiling it or rebooting MT.

Thank you as we now have an awsome trend indicator in exactly the right spot on my charts. Now lets all win some pips.. It seems as though our markets have somewhat slowed now?

I didn't see any comments on that nearly 400 pip move on GBPCHF today .. did anyone catch it? I did not & that was my fault .. I'm now doing a re-analysis to see why I missed something so huge .. and obvious! At least in retrospect
It was a perfect H1 box bo trade.... geez....

Beautifully stated .. as always. I love the description of the charts as peaceful & beautiful .. you are right, they move in endless patterns and you just learn to let go & ride them, like ocean waves.....

To Fry2010 I would only add one thing: you have to be 'bitten' by the traders bug . You said you would rather make Xmas cards all day than trade .. I think 99% of the people on this forum would rather trade than eat, sleep or .. just about anything else. It either grabs you or it doesn't .. I don't think love of trading (or addiction to it???) can be forced.
It sounds like you are young, so keep searching, look for something to do
(outside your day job) that really sparks your interest & enthusiasm. When you find it .. the money should follow.

to 4xstar: thanks for the comments. I know what your saying. I was 'bitten' by the traders bug long time ago, but I suppose cause I didnt make any viable profits after all the studying it ended up p***ing me off.

I think I am young? I dont know, im 23 or 24 I cant even remember... maybe because im bad with numbers it isnt for me...

Also I have found somthing that I am very interested in and I am pursuing it, but not with the intention of making money. Have just signed up for a uni degree in it aswell, so Im pretty serious about it. Hopefully I have the mental aptitude to succeed in it. Or it could just be another failure, but I doubt it because of my passion for it.

btw my day job is self-employed plasterer, and im quite good at it.

EDIT: yeah im 23, just checked my profile.

It certainly was! I am in this pair as a 3 tap weekly trade, but it may have already made its major move..but it is early in the week and the monthly is long. Don't know if I will have the patience for a weekly trade.

No... we can show our human side here. The psychology of trading is important to understand and it is different in all of us. It's good to hear the thoughts and feelings of other traders.

hey man focus on ur univ. and stop popping in here to disturb. we are not interested weather u ar 20 or 40. yu know what u want and focus on it. here is for serious minded people interested in the fx mkt and not charlatans. when u ar ready u can come back. there is a lot of time for everyone at the right time t, place p, and moment m. best of luck.

I often find that if Eurgbp is making a strong move it often messes up GU, which jerks around with no trend; so I usually check eurgbp before entering GU - and EU as well

and eurgbp has been making some big moves - same goes for eurchf and chf

just my 2 cents
