At whichever timeframe I look, all i get is a mixed message. no setup for new trades for me.
Am holding on to the long from D1 1.31 but not conficence is being seriously tested.

would be curious to hear your set ups

Basically...tick volume is worthless...
Certainly it doesn't show actual trade volume, but it does show number of trades and therefore level of activity, so in my opinion quite valuable info...

But hey you're entitled to your opinion and guess what, if you don't like it then don't use it. simples...

yes, it's a fruitless discussion. i was at the point where i could have strangled malcomb14 for being right all the time, and there were times where i silently swore him to death because of vsa.
there is no such thing as a useless means of analysis.

By the way..it doesn't show the amount of trades...it shows the amount of times your broker send you a new price...nothing to do with the amount of trade executed as the price doesn't change everytimes a trade is executed...

Large institutional traders have followers, who trade at the same time, this negates the fact you can't see actual trade size, basically when activity levels go up, the big boys, are participating... and VSA is a study of, "when the professionals are participating" it does not require actual trade size to be known...

concerning vsa, there are aspects i simply don't understand, like stopping volume. i can't figure it out, so i take the easier aspects of vsa and use them to my advantage.
