Dislikedyeah in general it's okay. But on the weekly time-frame you will see that we just reached a high. So that might hinder that trade. Other than that I think it's okay.Ignored

Dislikedoh, that's how you have drawn that line. I know there are no hard rules, but I always only draw the retracement trendline from the low to the highest high of the retracement move
high 1 is higher than high 2, thus I would not adjust the retracement trendline. I think that's how it's done typically.
If however the formation looks like a triangle or range, you can disregard that rule.
So one could argue that it looks a bit like a triangle. Again no hard rules here. But for me personally the retracement trendline is broken.

DislikedGood morning,
I am curious how far down can price break from the trend line for the BPC before it is invalid? The chart below this morning price on the GBP/JPY broke my TL and kept going. Now it is starting it's pull back. What would make this invalid? It is almost to the previous swing low.Ignored
DislikedIt looks like you are quite talkative , LOL I have check the pair. It is in downtrend on weekly. so, weekly trend reasserting itself probably.
It looks like NightMoves set up on weekly with trigger on daily. Wow.Ignored
DislikedHi ya Everyone..
I was wondering if someone could please put me in the direction of more of Hector's info, preferably videos outside of his course which I have already?..
The original site he had up before I noticed has now been taken down..

DislikedI am not sure what your problem was here. Price broke the retracement trendline and made a bpc.
In general if their is no pullback, or the pullback happens late, then you just search for another setup. No need to participate in each and every move.Ignored

Excellent!, thanks for your help on this, much appreciated!!

DislikedIndeed, custos is right. There are at least, 177 videos of his live trades on youtube.
We've mentioned this fact before.
In fact, if you spend time seriously studying these videos, most of the questions being asked about hector trades are already answered over and over and over. Just spend some weekends on it. Well, you will need more than a weekend to thoroughly study it.

DislikedCustos,
I think my TL is a little bit off. In your screen shot your bpc happened alot earlier and you got to first tp. On my chart it happened much later. I got the pull back at almost the previous swing low.
So my question is: When drawing the TLs do you always try to use the extreme highs and lows as part of the TL? I thought it was more of an impulse move so I set my TL a little bit higher. Which in my case makes me miss this trade. An insight would be great! Take a look at the difference between the charts.Ignored

DislikedDid you take the BPC on H4? Highlighted in chart below. For EUR/AUD, that is.
I want it to clear the 1.4053 and bpc under that RN, either on the H4 or DAILY time frame, then enter.Ignored
Disliked......You know the strangest thing: i wont be surprised at all if the greenius trade worked(to some extent) on that GBP/CHF. But i cant emphasize it enough: trade with the trend.Ignored
DislikedGBP/AUD you got yourself a runner. It is breaking under 1.5800. excellent tradeIgnored
DislikedIn my humble opinion, not really. I expect a full retracement back to 1.5950 area in a couple of days. That will prime it for a nice hector trade, that is when the pyramiding begins....Ignored
