Ive longed and shorted 3 times today. Got stopped at B/E all times. better than loses but jesus christ we need some direction.

I know what you mean, one of the biggest challenges is to overcome that...

Only take trades from the edge of the range when you have the odds...

Peeking at my 1hr, I still see that 2hr combo from this morning staring at me and can help but wonder if the bulls ran out of steam there. I guess the next few hours will tell. But if I see any long setups I am going to play them tight.

Going into town for an hour or so to take care of a bit of business... BB talking later...

I expect a bit of volatility and then just maybe we might get some direction, would not be surprised to see some stop running first...

True.. but at end it all depends on your target and lot sizes. My daily target is about 50 pips. I already bagged 100 pips, since early morning.

I should go and do something else now but it's difficult. I'll stick around at least until London close.

What do you use to determine the (daily?) range? Pivots? Eyeballing for support and resistance or something else?

I'm asking because I'm just writing a small test to check the importance of daily pivots (ie to answer the question what is the probability of the price staying in between S1 and R1). Thanks.
