For me a pinbar just means nothing. I need to look at it as a whole, i mean i need to see the background and the next bars to see if its a valid one.
For me going short on a pinbar is pure gamble. 50% of chance it works, 50% it doesn't. But that's just me so it doesnt count.

They are drawn manually. I use the swing high/low closes. I look for a close above or below them, not just a penetration. I also sometimes use the close of what I think is an important bar, be it a breakout, news bar, gap,reversal bar, or something else. I sometimes jump the gun, like 4041/43 for example. The move to the downside might not be over, but that reversal bar looked important to me, as we moved away from it I pay attention to the close of that bar, which is 4042.4, plus/minus a couple of ticks.

The volume is very thin in the most liquid pair EURUSD .
EUR has not reacted on very good economy data of EZ but is still sold vs AUD CAD SEK NOK...
I see the range of 14150 upside and 13850 downside until FOMC

12 times, jesus 12 times i got stoped at +1, pluss a few 8 pips trades and a couple of 10 pips trades makes my waiting a little more exiting, now when everybody think they are going to charge up they spik up and then head down, I asume 4100 R3 or 4090 maybe top today, I'll start selling there at 4100, also will sell 4150 and 4200 hourly is my reason

price is wedged between 1.4044, pivotal resistance and 50sma @ 1.4020 on M15. a breakout is due ... if it breaks down ... the move will be sufficient. On the upside there is uncertainty.

Could you tell me how the volume works with the pinbar? And what does your "confirmation" mean? Coz I really want to know.

this need to go below 4025 to reverse/retrace whatever, as long is above 4035/4025 area i am long, US data wont be that good to move it only minor changes expected but i am always ready for suprise
