Was the dollar decline at the end for real or just a technical glitch???

Technical glitch ruled out imo looks like unwind of large options position.
Could be sentiment turns bullish for USD and bearish for EUR

LOL, looks like Tyler D. needs a more reliable broker and his permanent "flash crash" hype is beginning to get boring. He seems to have at least two "flash crashs" every single day.

BTW: No "flash crash" here on my charts.

It was a bad tick, as simple as that.
Don't look for something that isn't there... If the dollar really want to turn and start to appreciate we'll see it easily in the EURUSD chart, we won't need binoculars and "flash crash conspiracies"...

EURUSD crash to 137 was for real no doubt and on DXZ as well.
How real that was we'll see whether XAUUSD drops below 1300 on spot and on Dec future if so EURUSD short short.

USDX usualy is the driver.

UDSX bounce from that weekly trend line and face the 78,52 resistence level..i think next week we will see another test of that resistence level....

Based on fibs, previous minor resistance and falling trend line, I'm reading resistance zone @ 3980 - 40, assuming we will not be doing a retest of the highs, anyone else seeing this as a good probability short?

Ps. late Friday rally was on very weak volume...

Thanks Zink for chart , ok for the retracement up to that level & up for now 79.74 expected before or even highs 80.05 to even higher though not expect much to 81.95 but not think it tested the tl actually , weekly taking closed prices where it bounced can be the good tl though but when taking lower tf , daily it goes some lower as previously found tl 76.01 /75.97. may continue bear as still is ,breaking those tl with huge unexpected consequences .lets see up where ?good see .

so far there is an upgap on the EU, if this keeps up, I will be shorting and close the gap with it.

yes, they suck more often then not. possibly the definition of their key areas should be changed, as it more often then not reaches the lower neck line. so basically you can trade them, but not to the full extent.

damn, i thought i was up to something. i had looked at the peek areas of trends and the high volume was to be found at/around the specific peek. but were still consolidating with a high volume down bar (strange in this place, isn't it?). i was not lucky enough keep last friday's short, that was a prime short-opportunity (greeeeeed for profit). but main bullish target still remains the daily/weekly trendline at 1.453x. the g20-committments on not crashing the usd at such a high pace might delay this one, who knows. it's time for a retracement anyways, and if (conditional) that became a runner, who knows what they come up with when reaching the lower daily/weekly tl? a scheme to reach parity with the help of the victims themselves *g

just dreaming... again.

okay, back to reality. main target is circled, i have identified possible entries for long at 1.3811, 1.3693, 1.3327 and short at 1.4344, 1.4584, 1.5130. those areas are based on daily tf, the rest will have to be evaluated differently.
