going EURUSD overnight was ok gettin out @1396 is also ok.
Imo DX is not just "consolidating" I expect a tendency towards trend change to up.
Because of PBOC hike AND keeping USD peg. But PBOC MUST do both hike and appreciate.
They don't have a choice. This will support DX no matter what DX chart.

At least in the old days, interventions could be coordinated with other central banks. In this fiscal equivalent to a race to the bottom of the sea, it doesn't go as well.
