I'm watching euro stocks turn green and US stock futures come up. Crude is up 4 bits in the last hour. I might take a long gamble on green German number....if I can stay awake that long....

Wanna see retest of the 1.3900 area and see if it bounces. If it bounces and gos higher again we might have a bottom in place.

Hey all, this is probably my first post on the forums here. Seems like some of you are bullish on this pair. I'd like to hear your opinions.

As for me, I'm bearish and am trading for 70+ pips here---taking a swing trade. I sold at 1.38976
My reasonings are as follows:

The $USD index is showing signs of retracement/profit taking, which I believe could go on for 100+ pips (based on fib retracements). If you notice other USD pairs, they seem to be trading in correlation to the index (kinda obvious ).

Also, I feel the pair itself has to retrace a bit as well, based on the channels I'm seeing on the daily chart.

do ya'll remember about a year ago when the USD was beat down - E/U >1.50 - and every time Timmy Geithner or BB said "strong dollar" - the dollar would just get weaker? Wasn't dat whacky? Or wait - was that yesterday....?

Morning buddies,
Ok my humble view :-
1) yesterdays move to 1.4000 was exactly 50% retrace of last weeks move down (so consider bearish)
2) currently under 50% (1.3945) of last nights move down from 1.4000
Again bearish.
making green pips large and red pips small this is my goal.
374 traders viewing now
