I think the market is acting regardless of the usdx rising. Just take a look at the ny session it took this thing on up to a level of resistance. usd is trash now IMO.

The euro pound aussie are all ignoring it

You are on the right track. What you need to remember is that most people who trade lose. This means that listening to other people likely won't work. You can't be a sheep in this game. I think this is why a few of the people in this forum (who I believe were profitable) took a bunch of heat from others when they posted their unconventional methods and thus no longer post. I can tell you that good money management is universal but after that, anything goes. It's hard for one person to describe a method that may be profitable for them because everybody has a different personality and different trading methods fit different personalities. If you have a system that is working for you stick with it regardless of what others say. Like I said, just make sure you are using good money management cause the best system will eventually fail without it.

we still have to cross the median line (greenish) of the pitchfork i drew on the D1. this could very well form the handle, hope this cup doesn't break.

I agree, which is why I don't read this forum all day, nor do I read news and all that jazz. I stick to my charts basically because the only person I can blame if I lose, is myself.

I know too many people blaming central banks for their losing positions, or other people telling them to make this or that trade. At the end of the day if I lose, it's not cause of manipulation, it's not cause of intervention, it's cause of me.

it hit a normal ma pa ... at the bottom, then reversed... nothing to write home about.

yeah USX rulls. sometimes i feel like it's leading.

anyway annoying range. also look at USX

77 - 77.2 - 77.4 - 77.6

it's either a consolidation that will lead usd higher on E/U or an Inverted H&S.
