ibm selling off.. markets usually follow... usdx came within 2 pips of my eu exit. at 76.88... still watching..atm 77... after bounce.

true. but if weekly is undecided, it's not wise to take signals from daily :nerd:... no matter how "decided" this may seem. what do you think?

Wait a minute .. the bear trap seems to be taking shape in 'twilight trading'. Nice play .. we should 1.3940/50 support. Then go long. This creates confusion to jittery traders - that is the objective of high profile 'twilight zone' traders.

Well we can take a signal from a shorter tf. For example today after a consolidation in late Asia it was clear that the intraday entry was bearish. After a momentum thrust EU has tested the lows. M15 was trending down so I took the trade.

I trade only in the direction of maintrend on various timeframes always consulting higher tfs. m30 entries are valid for 6-10h at most, while h4 setups are valid for 2 days. it depends on which TF u trade.

I prefer to measure swing projections on higher TFs thou. And my favourite pattern is breakout-pullback-continuation pattern in the direction of the main trend.

The thing about the market is to restrain from predicting future price movement. I have to learn to do that. I can anticipate but I shouldn't predict. 25% of all traders know that the market will do what it feels like.

We are told that only 5% of traders make money, seems its closer to 25%
