Can't trade gold any more in US accounts. I had to close my gold longs at huge profit on Friday. Welcome to the United Prison of America.

I drew this rectangle on my 4h AJ chart starting around Sept 15 ... when this range breaks, could be major move...

Hmmm . are they allowing new accts from US citizens?
FX Solutions discontinued gold as of Friday & I phoned around to some others, the ones who allow gold are not accepting US clients any more.

ON the GU chart, there were 3 taps of the 4h but RSI indys are showing down .. so I assume that last tap would have been ignored?

On AJ chart, there are 2 taps, the 3rd has not yet happened ... so this is where one waits & waits .. .& waits ??? Then when/if tap occurs, you check the RSI indys for confirmation?

I just contacted FXDD. They are not suspending the trading of gold for old or new accounts. 50:1 leverage.

Just spoke with my FXDD broker in New York. Yes they are taking on new clients. Yes they do still offer Gold and Silver. New CFTC rules limit trading at 50:1.
I've been with live several years myself. Always found them knowledgeable. Platform response fast even during news, but some re-quotes news time as to be expected.

Thanks to both of you! I was getting ready to phone FXDD myself. I don't mind the 50:1, still plenty of money to be made .. but I really want to continue trading gold. I think there will be a major correction soon, so another chance to get in...

Has mixed signals, but according to RSI directions a short trade is most likely. I don't see a good set-up here. (Thanks for the vouch! That was very kind of you...)

I assume that this was a pure break out trade ( as opposed to break out with trend) as the RSI signals were long at the time?

There was a break out trade long earlier today at around 1.0200 - valid for about 20 pips

Your break out trade short was a nice double top pattern, but was only support by H4

Do you have any particular time that you look for trades
