Agreed but I would only be bearish from 1.3885 to 1.3846 for the moment to see what happens. 1.3846 is last weeks 19.1 fib which can provide some support. Have to see how the rest of today plays out and adjust entries and targets to suit.
Bounced up again from 1.3888 again.. I think we need to wait 20 more min..

The PA made a new high for the session, not good for bears
Let's wait the H1 close though.
At this stage a bounce off the daily low would be good for bulls, maybe it'll happen next hour

True, but under current circumstances following Friday's excessive sell of of financials, this is really some relief - had the earnings been lower, financials would continue to slide today. However, I expect a relief and if buying starts - short covering will commence.

All in all, the NY session will dictate how EURUSD trades fro the remaining part of the day. Many NON-commercials EURUSD trailing stops are just above 1.3940 - If triggered, an instant rally will ensue taking out the day's highs. Some nagging here, as BIS sells around 1.3920 again slowing things down for the time being.

I am on the sidelines until one or the other gives. But the way this PA has been I would also feel better to see it give and then be re-tested to make sure it holds before entering long or short ATM.

I am not sure, it can also show that there are not as much need for QE as stocinvestors might had hoped for. And with such good results, it gives the FED a reason to make the QE2 not so big.

Good news doesn't always = stroubg USD... sometimes it + strong stocks and weak USD. Have to watch this closely.
