Next support is at 137.85 which is also 23% retrace line for the entire bull run from 126.50

Time to reload the longs, dip buying for me, building position with long entries below 1,3880. Target would be a new high, market should bounce around 1,3865 ( stops below 1,3834 should be fine).

A close below 1,3913 today would signal failure, and would have me leaving the bull camp, until then, playing the trend... until it really bends.

USDX 1H crossed up the 200sma, let's see if that really sticks...

just keep 3953 396x in mind.... i got a left nut saying it will be a tough nut to crack when it hardens. resistance here points to more 2953 + ish... then do the LL LH math if its true.. that put 1.0953 (float) in cross hairs in one model

Oh Gator I'm sorry, I'm very good at confusing people and my long story has bamboozled you.

Thank you for coming back with that info, but all I really wanted to know was how do I set trailing stops. One would think it was an easy thing to do, but they totally baffle me. I was well miffed to find I could have gained near 30 pips only to have set up some trailing stop which closed me out

Yep I agree it could fail there around 1,3950-60, and even if we go higher, 1,4040 area could be another potential failure zone for the longs.. so let's not be too complacent with the market... you're right.

Even if it's the real deal and it would go lower, we should get a decent bounce in this area before more downside. Failures from that bounce would be the signal of a failling trend, but not before, imho.

Well if we consider the move up exaggerated, we may see a bunch of small bounces, drawing in longs (since the trend has been up for weeks) faking them and then drop lower, making the longs cover, and adding momentum to a down move.

i set hard targets mostly... some people reach 50% of target and close half trade. and let the rest run with a trailing stop.
depending on type on long term i just move sl up.. pv uses trailing stops. he would be more qualified to answer.

10 pip trailing is way too little. On my platform which is a 5 digit broker, 10points trailing actually means 1 pip. I never use trailing stops unless for st trades with a 25 - 30 pip ts.
