The London traders knocked it down to the area the US traders knocked it down yesterday........grabbing for longs at low prices. The SL nearly triggered!

TP1 has been reached. For now, I am letting this run.

All per attached chart. The WAVE represents a bounce down off of a half number....not quite as strong as if this were at a whole number. But, lets see what happens, since PA is now below the next lower whole number.

Hello, I am short with EU. The trade is obviously counter trend.

first price went trough 1.40000 the rallied to 1.41xx (there is also DR3 +RgH). Then a first run dow and retrace to fib 61 .

I think now it will retrace to 1.4000 to find a support.

Possible target : 1.4000 (important S&R and fib 62 + DR1) and 1.3950/60 RgL and (DPV + fib 162).

This might be worth keeping tabs on, with EP in area of half number....
Edit: Pipoca beat me to it on this one! I apologize, Pipoca. I did not see your post above when posting on this one. Folks, Pipoca is right. This has possibilities as the "bouncing down action" is taking place at a whole number area.

Both look to be possible SonicR short setups. Note that there is a high impact USD Bernake Speaks release tomorrow morning (8:15am EST). So, I am wondering if these setups will fall apart, and if PA will just go into ranging until then. If there is going to be a big move down on these two, which would certainly be counter trend (ar a REVERSAL!), that release time would be the time for the PPMs to do the move. It would give them plenty of time to "adjust" their positions beforehand (close longs/open shorts), and then finish the week with a drive down, locking out longs at the highs! This is just a thought, and it could be off base.

Entered long here. PA so far is maintaining upwards stepping, and is currently in an acceptable re-enty area. Looking to see if PA makes an upwards move in US afternoon session.

Look at the US pairs; AU, EU, GU, UChf, UCad. The are all bending towards "dollar strength". There are high impact USD releases starting after 8am EST tomorrow. This would be a perfect time for these pairs to get a hard drive in the direction of "dollar strength", because the intevening time can be used by the professional traders to close their "dollar weakness" positions, and open "dollar strength" positions.

This is just an observation, but mentionable because if there is any substance here, SonicR setups may not run until tomorrow. Or, if some do run, it might not be very far, because PA is in the "dollar weakness" area and likely to be ranged here while the PPMs "consolidate" their positions for the "dollar strength" run.

The trade is now off to a good start. From the "clock" panel (normally "Off" in deference to the SonicR Logo, but now turned "On"), we can see it is all up to the US traders now. Maybe it reaches the target, maybe not. But, strong US afternoon runs have happened before. So, it is a long shot, but not unreasonable.

Here is another that might see good upside sometime during/after the high impact USD releases tomorrow. PA is currently in the EP zone, where it has been consolidating. This consolidation, in lieu of a true SonicR breakout right away, may be a strong signal of the run to come. With so much time to go, tomorrow the asian and early euro sessions PPMs might also bounce the PA around as they finish any prepearations for a run. This could mess up the H/L pattern. The Dragon does not exactly match yours. It is an experimental version.

Note the two quick stabs below the whole number today during the London session.....PPMs twice grabbing for a low price in advance of something they believe is coming? And they couldn't drive the price as low the 2nd time as they did the 1st time, because other traders were already now wise to the game plan.....and with new buy orders down there it would just be too costly for the PPMs to attempt to drive the price lower?

I have closed the trade with 31 pips profit. PA twice up to half number area, and early euro traders could pull it down again for better positioning for run up.

PA will go one way or the other during/after these releases, no way to know, so trade is very light.

May go lower, but PA is already past average range. Yeah, it could be a bang up day! Taking profit of 42 pips here, anyway.

BTW, this is a good example of how NOT to trade! Entry was after approved hours; not good. During next asian session there was the opportunity to close with proft, which I did not take advantage of; not good. Then, come the next euro session, this set up for a great long trade and I was in it short; not good. Then the PPMs whipsawed it even higher which would have hit my SL had it not been "mental"; not good. Finally, after two missed profitable opportunities and a large drawdown during the whipsaw, this made a 42 pip profit; not good!

I am already in this short, but this is making good signs for a break down.

Edit: (2nd chart) You can see that PA made a pop up out of the established consolidation range, but did not promote a run upwards. Instead, PA is back in the range, heading downwards. This can be a good indication that the breakout will be down. Why? The pop up is most likely an outfit manipulating the price up to run stops/create liquidity and altitude for their short orders. The pop up also has helped to create a larger WAVE (black lines).

Hello I made a re-entry short on EU, entry point below the hanging man candle.

I couldn't be in before, my trading plateform was hanging and not reponsive during the news and the 90 minutes after ! I was long with usdchf and I could not manage the position

I already hit tp1 at 1.3995 for 29 pips and brought SL to EP for the remainder. Edit 1 : I stopped all @ 1.3990

P.S. nice trades TAH (usdchf & eurusd) !

Edit 2 : USDCHF went to TP2 @ 1.3940 !

Closed GU short trade for 30 pips profit. I entered twice, creating a slightly higher average EP for the trade. And I had to remove my SL during the high volatility time of the first USD release. Small profit, but profit. Like the EU short trade, this was entered after approved hours yesterday, and is an example of how NOT to trade.

Entered long on these two last week. Today the asian session traders have hammered the prices down. So, I am taking advantage of this and adding to the long positions, per attached pics. Obviously, these are not SonicR re-entries.

The original trades were not managed well. EJ should have been closed when first reaching TP1. The GJ trade was entered outside of approved hours, and should never have been initiated. But having done so, it should have been closed Friday when nearing TP1 because Friday afternoons can be quite lackluster.

This could happen starting in the US session, maybe when the NYSE opens at 9:30am. Possible settings per pic.
