Two more great Fakey IB set-ups on the daily charts this week.

The UJ i posted a few days ago is still going well, Pin bar IB set-up.

I know most use IB`s on the hourly but daily to me just seem to offer more.

Can somebody help a newbie by telling me how to install the DIBS_TriggerLines1.1.mq4 into MT4.
Have put it in the Experts folder but that doesn't seem to work!

so amazing that the BOJ spike got killed in just a matter of 3 week

kinda gives u an idea of the selling pressure in that market it actually overwhelmed the freakin BOJ!!!

I close my U/J positions when the government wasted a pile of money (sort of a sigma six type of event and I should have closed them earlier on in the intervention before it triggered my close signal, but live and learn) and got short again on two subsequent inside bars with relatively large positions due to the small size of the IB's.

Also long two G/U positions

learning to deal with equity swings is fun

Seems like most people here are trading hourly dibs on forex.... this being ForexFactory and all, but has anyone tried trading hourly dibs on the commodities such as sugar, coffee and oil? I wonder how effective this system in on the hourly time frame on these markets, has anyone been able to verify this through any testing platform?

Hey G -- you prolly are already aware of this but, just in case, those daily IBs are often even better when they are also NR4s or NR7s.

Yes, still in it, having exited half of position and now enjoying a free trade.

Have returned to trading and DIBS (daily charts) after some 20 months absence. Just feeling my way gradually with small trades.

Counter trend i know but some strength in the form of 2 pins, IB formed.

How do you apply DIBS to the daily? As far as I understand (please correct me if I'm wrong) if we have an IB we should sell if it's below previous weekly close, and buy if it's above.

In this case the IB is below last week's close so only short trade should apply... right?
