Just back to see if actually a breakout upside happened , virtually yes but further break eu at 4086 & usdx 76.49 break & hold.
not any far , only 2 pips difference .

Got it, but price has just crossed above 50sma, and 15ema has been below 50sma since London close...

P.S. Don't ask me what level i think it will drop too. Gator is the man for that... Didn't get a chance to figure out his excellent trading and levels but Hatch has got the hang of it.

Gator - i'm still waiting for you to open that trading school for numnuts we discussed earlier in the year

Piper, add 20EMA, and watch possible cross within this 15m candle

I'm targeting 4030, at least as an initial tp, but at this rate it's going to be getting covered at cost or possibly a little in the red...

Gator, I take since you've sold that you are expecting lower prices...

Perhaps , only 19 pips positive side from my last seen about 3 hrs back . ok for this time only , may be asia will do the rest overnight here .see it again next morning.

in fact 15ema is just crossing back above 50sma on the 15 min.

My main issue with moving averages is 1) they lag and 2) they don't lead price, price leads them..

But you obviously are able to use them to good effect.

See how the UC 15min 50MA (Magenta line) is slowly rising bringing the UC Up.
See how the EU 15min 50MA (Magenta line) is slowly dipping bringing the EU down


N.B. I only stay in the trade for 10-30 pips.

I used to stay in trades looking to bag large pip counts but trades always returned and went against me. This way i am much more profitable. I am only able to trade in the evenings due to work during the day but this system is working great.

It also works in 1min where i actually make my trades. Use the following on 1min with the 50MAs and Stochastic. When the 15min Stochastic crosses, stay in trade longer.
Go long trade, 50MA moving up and when blue Stochastic line is at bottom and crosses red line
Go short trade when 50MA is moving down and blue Stochastic line is at top and crosses red line

In for 10Pips. Out. In for 10Pips out. Repeat. Although if you see UC tanking, stay in the trade

may do as in before most breatout takes place at the terminal part .so a price move to 4071 > 85 & think for a bo to 51 possible .

I took my EU short because EU 15Min Stochastic was close to crossing plus the 50MA also looks to be dropping but note, the 50MA could level off and move up so need to keep an eye on the 50MA always

4123...draw a trendline from 26.01.2010 exactly. A break there would expose 4221 with 4160 a round number resistance
