Price is quickly taking out the defense areas.

I would like to see this current H1 bar end as a bullish PB.

Come on guys your making me blush. I always make notes on my chart of the (demo/live) trades I took to analyse these in hindsight. And yes with some fantasy the chart could represent the layout of an electrical circuit board, where those bars represent electrical resistances and the wicks are electrical wires. But you guys still haven't answered my original question about that big 80 pip bar yet.

That is correct, and I believe that you can leave and rejoin and then when you have done 12 months overall, you will also become a free member.

Sometimes same chart in different colors and the way are drawn helps me see some patterns which are not obvious otherwise. Must be subconscious thing.

Hi Im, yes I mark the notes by myself. It helps me in analyzing the trades I took in hindsight. Currently I've an account with IG-index (the UK branch) their trading platform is called Pure Deal.

sure did.
it happened during & after the US news about 40minutes ago.
Oanda had a weak connection (even got disconnected for a short while) & prices were delayed by about +/-10pips in some/all pairs (MT4 demo accounts were doing fine) for about 10minutes.... but when i exited a position, the exit price was the real-time one. cool

he takes time into account when taking trades (if the trading session/time is a volatile/liquid or quiet session)

The times he like to trade are;

US OPEN, Near 10:30, In the morning and wants to get done before Lunch time starts cause traders go to have lunch so less volatility.

After the Lunch Time, 2:30, When traders come back from lunch and wants to get done before 4:00 cause of near close.

i dont count this as my charts. only opened a few seconds every day or so.

a few months back i saw a pin bar long on the 150 i think and maybe fib too.

now on this chart a iPB? just a quick retrace before more long?

whats that green line? thats where i am long $1000 from the pin bar a few months back.

is that how you play pin bars? no. is that how you make money trading, probably not.

am i still long citigroup, yes

Well that BUOB was one big disapointment to me. Why? good size + div.
Yes against main trend but really looked like the trend exhausted (due to size and div)...

So what was my problem with this trade? Should I never trade agianst main trend (even with div + good size)??? Or should I just ignore one failed setup (because even good fail too) and keep on doing what I do?

it hasnt exactly gone lower yet

not sure when you got in? break of previous bar long?

on daily it looks like a real swift move back down testing support

perhaps never trading against the main trend is something to look into, but never take it too hard b/c of one failed trade.

Yes entered @ 14.06 (above previous bar+10c). Exited soon due to found error with my position calculations, but anyway I kept my eye on it because I thought the setup was really cute....

It still has not exactly traded below BUOB but I still consider it a failure... a good trade must not have 100% bar retrace

im not convinced this is a legitimate continuation down. look how SWIFT it is
