You could say the same about most "news" in inverted commas, doesn't mean that it can't move a market.

But range might get broken.

BEIJING—China's foreign-exchange reserves swelled to $2.648 trillion at the end of September, in a record surge highlighting the extent of the nation's intervention in currency markets at a time of rising global tensions over exchange rates.

The reserves, already by far the largest such stash in the world, jumped by $194 billion in the third quarter, central-bank data issued Wednesday show, marking their biggest-ever quarterly gain. Economists said the rise in reserves was driven by both a rebound in China's trade surplus and the recent fall in the U.S. dollar, which increases the value of China's nondollar reserve holdings in dollar terms.

I don't see any reason to retest 1.4020 before news...

Buys are finished up till the USD news.. As posted by fellow trader, the news is not good for USD.. still the market is not settled with BEARS..

Thanks for the piece! Superb. Given that trade imbalance was $16B last month, so for the quarter can't be much more than $50B. Which means, given that they report the increase to be $194B, that the Chinese are holding quite some EUR, JPY and whatever else. Good to know!

That's a forecast, not a certainty. News could be better than expected, you just never know.

sorry i didnt know there was any news as i dont trade the news .its merly the count that i was looking at shows that b in place of 4 so c is going down to finish it in an expanding traingle as i said before that correction could take all week

I have a short bad placed ( i am on - ) and a take profit of 1.37795 for my openings. Based on the 1h and 4h and fibo. Maybe I will closed my position in + in MM 200 for the 1 hour timeframe.
