trying up usdx with inverted hs but bear set up still there to back .

Ok so now trend is heading south, we need a possibly nice retracement down prior to the news at 8 30

The news will be bad anyway. Unemployment claims will be bad..Just be averaging the past results and the forecasts.

So if they're holding off on QE (rumour), I can't work out if that's bullish or bearish, the implication being that they still plan to go ahead at a later stage.

Might go back to 1.40 and if that does not hold it falls further to 1.38

Even better would be if 1.4065 holds before more upside to 1.425

Either way, i'm adding to long on dips

the top of 4121 looks like the end of the 3 Wave. Now it seems we are in correction (Wave 4).

QE is a lot priced in the usd value now. If they won't go for it, expect a higher value of the USD.

Honestly, this rumour sounds utter nonsense: hold off QE2 in exchange some yuan appreciation, while China can unload her Treasuries??? The Government would have a rough time selling this idea to Congress, especially with the midterm elections coming up. I am not saying it is not possible, but I'd prefer to believe that extraterrestials landed in Athens, and Dublin simultaneously and offered to buy some debt of the respective countries...ah, and they also asked for the old time friend Lehmann Bros for some CDOs .

Yeah, but doesn't "hold off" imply that they'll just push it back a bit? A lot of this dollar weakness is based on QE speculation anyway, nothing has been explicitly stated, unless I missed something.
